I second that :D

Bum phones. Who knew?!

I know it’s all pretty gross, but I do love it. I get an insight from the things I see and hear, that many would never or could imagine.

ADMIN NOTE:

Posts discussing the house being "messed up" have been removed. There is no MSM to support such discussion and rumor is not allowed at WS.

Maybe I’ve missed it somewhere or it hasn’t been mentioned but how close is Lindsay’s home to the pub ?

Approx 100 metres! Judging by Ordnance Survey online route plotting.

Do we think that anyone may have seen Lindsay leaving her home?

Blimey for some reason I thought she lived further away.....she literally stepped out the door and disappeared.......

Due to the location of recent activity is it crazy to think that perhaps the suspect and a accomplice were perhaps casing the property to possibly burgle her home ? She’s left home they’ve seen an opportunity, the suspects job is to keep her occupied while accomplice goes in to the home.....but everything has gone wrong horribly wrong and he has restrained her and ended up with this horrific outcome. I know it’s a bit “out there” for a theory !MOO

Your comment struck me between the eyes! What are the odds of walking out of your front/back door and disappearing within 100m? Does that not lend itself to a targeted attack or that LB's home address plays a much more significant part in this?

Interesting theory. It could easily have gone that way, or, maybe saw her, did the awful deeds then let himself/themselves into her place. Having been forced to give out her address. MOO

........and perhaps adds more relevance to my last comment .

I put forward just such a theory some days ago. However, I haven't seen any comments that Scenes of Crime have been seen at LB's home address. Maybe they did it very discreetly, if they did attend!

The more I think about it I’m more inclined to think murder was never the intended crime....MOO

I think this is a one man crime personally. Just going by the boy charged being the only one arrested and suggestions in the press that he went out looking to attack a woman.

Where in MSM was her home address revealed?

Form Lancashire Telegragh stated she lived on Burnley Road

I'm sorry I can't upload pictures.... the picture below shows 2 police cars outside her house, if you look at the red car in front of the police cars it doesn't take much to deduce that maybe her car, going off the number plate...L1 BCK...IMO

Heavy police presence near Accrington Cemetery as investigation into Lindsay Birbeck's murder continues

I haven't seen nor heard of any Scenes of Crime at her address, just the police parked outside.

There is still a Police van parked up the top of the dirt path between the Pub and the Funeral Directors.

There has been a van parked up there for over a week now, I'm not sure if it's there day and night. Its always there early in the mornings. I passed there last night around 9:45pm so it was dark and it was still parked there.

To be honest when all that police precence turned up on the Thursday morning after his arrest Tuesday evening I thought he may have confessed...obviously he hasn't. Its just the attention seemed, IMO, to switch from the search around the coppice nearer to the main entrance and Peel Park Avenue to the areas around the rear of the pub.

They seem to be concentrating on the area that used to be a chicken farm. That runs from the building with the bue tin roof back to were that small expanse of water is, but its difficult to say as you just can't see that from the road, its all obscured with either buildings or trees...but again MOO

....you say him being the only one arrested......MOO is that’s it’s an ongoing investigation and perhaps they have enough to charge the boy and obviously within the time constraints etc had to ......perhaps he is a lone wolf if it’s as straight forward as him going out looking for a victim....but would there still be such a police presence in the locations if he has fessed up to it being just that ??

One possibility for the sudden change in focus of LE activity, other than the suspect making credible statements, is that intelligence came back indicating the suspects movements....maybe CCTV or analysis of his mobile phone GPS/cell site data.
