I am enjoying your thoughtful and informative posts.
In your own opinion do you think there will be a further arrest or arrests?

Thanks Skigh.

If the 16 year old was involved in LB's murder, then I believe it unlikely that he acted alone and likely under a degree of duress.

Personally, I don't feel he fits the profile for a lone offender with the little we know about the suspect, victim, circumstances, MO. Of course there are always exceptions, usually when people have a dangerous personality disorder.

I feel that LB was most likely going to meet someone that she knew, in some way. If so, that person or persons, will likely be the key to solving this tragic case.

Of course this is just my opinion and it's the evidence that is key, not general statistics or my supposition.

No it isn't very busy on here but there probably isn't a great deal to post at the moment, apart from rumours which aren't allowed. I'm sure when he gets charged or released the chat will pick up on here.

I agree
The smell of a decomposing dead body is unlike any other smell that you have ever experienced. It’s truly one of those smells that you never get used to and is so toxic and such a horrific attack on your sense of smell. You never forget it and even if wrapped in material and with the lid bouncing up and down slightly, the smell will emanate plus ( I APOLOGISE FOR THE GRAPHIC TEXT I AM ABOUT TO POST) when a body is decomposing and is dead for this amount of time being suggested here by the time he’s transporting the wheelie bin in the CCTV , due to the process that the body goes through and due to the heat, there will be flies, lots of flies and maggots, lots of maggots and even jumping maggots . I will leave it there but it’s all from personal experience. MOO

I've experienced the smell of a decomposing body and all the neighbours, including me, were retching, from our boots. When we shut the windows the smell pervaded inside our homes - its an unforgettable and overwhelming smell and would go as far as to say its the worst smell I've ever smelt.

Maybe the wheelie bin footage isn't actually that relevant, but it's clearer than an important piece of CCTV where the same boy appears and looks like he's involved? This footage isn't that high quality, but it's pretty close up and you get a really good sense of his clothes and what he looks like.

Obviously if he's involved his moments are very important, but it's possible he's not doing anything regarding Lindsay in the clip.

Or maybe the wheelie bin footage was chosen as it is more likely for any witnesses to remember seeing someone pulling a wheelie bin along the road.

Thanks Skigh.

Thanks for your reply.
Your personal opinions are very similar to my own.

Hi...I'm new so I apologize in advance if I say something I shouldn't...

Does anyone else think the lid of that bin is dented, like it’s been stood on or something heavy put on top of it? Maybe it’s just the way the light is hitting it, distorting the image..

Just has he is going out of view in the cctv it looks like the lid as a big dent in the top of it

Yes it does look dented, but my own blue bin is dented because the window cleaner stands on it to climb over the gate!

What does DBM mean?

the system allows you to completely remove your text if you change your mind about your post - but the empty reply box remains and insists that you say something ! dbm is the quickest way to get round the issue

I do live in the area, and it’s not been your typical warm summer, it’s been very wet. IF that bin had been there since the cctv image of the lad pulling it I’m guessing it would be difficult to get fingerprints from it, considering the amount of rain there has been.

welcome to websleuths.
It is always valuable to have someone with local knowledge.

I'm also really hung up on where she was going, with little money and a non working phone. I do think it's highly likely to be someone she knew, for a specific purpose.

I would be made up if her phone turns up and it sheds light on the person/s responsible because at the heart of this is a woman who deserves justice.

So if the suspect is released after 96 hours, can they pick him up again if something else turns up? Do they get another 96 hours? How many times can UK do this to a person?

You know it's interesting I don't know that. I'd assume they can rearrest but there would need to be a significant development. Sometimes delays are just to get a watertight case because they only have one shot rather than not having any evidence at all.

Equally sometimes arrests are made purely because it allows them to question under caution

Thank you. I'm not familiar with the justice system in the UK.

Far as I know, it has to be a different charge - they can't keep bringing someone in for 96 hours on the same one - so - as you say - if there is a significant development, that would then allow a different charge and away they go

must add here MOO and IMO just to cover myself in case one of our legal folk knows more

It does all boil down to who she was meeting or where she was going imo also
