For sure, any subsequent children would go straight on to the child protection register. For what little that may be worth.

Oh to be a fly on their cell walls right now.
I'm sure the adults will get everything that's coming to them sentence wise, but I'm very nervous on what the outcome of the youth will be.

Oh wow, was just about to take my 3 yr old grandson on a bike ride and checked the news page quickly.

You think they have some verdicts already? Looks like the bike ride is on hold temporarily while we wait and see.

Always on school run…. Lol.

I was absolutely amazed when I read this news. Was certainly not expecting a verdict so quickly.

I wish there was an emergency button we could press to alert everyone to return to the thread!

Well, this is interesting. Am I right in thinking this is bad news for the defendants?

What do experienced verdict watchers here think?

Would they come back in if they had decided part of the verdicts, but not all? Eg, if they decided JC guilty, then go bk out the discuss the others?

The jury will give verdicts for all defendants and all charges.

Given it’s quick and must be unanimous I’m really hoping it’s guilty across the board!

All verdicts imo

You would not have thought they'd transport the youth all the way there just for someone else's verdict. But... might there be a compassionate angle to that? It will probably be the last time JC and the youth ever see each other. Is that plausible? I really have no idea - just wondering out loud tbh.

I wonder if AW is having a ‘fit’ ;)

I think they would wait until they had verdicts for all 3.

MOO: They will be found guilty on all counts, apart from manslaughter for the youth versus murder. They are all equally culpable for knowing that Logan was extremely ill, and choosing not to call for help. Their silence is their incrimination.

I am very much hoping it is bad news for the defendants.

I feel sick, I really hope it's a quick verdict because it's unanimous guilty all round.
