Thank you for all the updates @Alyce

I think the only verdict I’m worried about is the youths murder charge, as much as I believe he should be convicted, but hopefully the jury have heard far more detail that we can’t. I think every other verdict in this case will be guilty.

Did forensics look into the burn? the size and circumference and did they try to hazard a guess at what made it? Could it be proved if it was a spoon, a tap, or a purposely over burned clipper lighter?

Totally agree Dotta. I am usually quite neutral when following a case but this one has really had an impact.
Same here, thanks Alyce for updates.

I don't remember hearing Coles clothes and trainers being in the tumble dryer before. I must have missed that bit along the way

I do not remember that either.

And this is absolutely damning evidence!

It really is. And proves he has lied also. There's probably a whole lot more damning evidence we haven't heard too.

Not really. He has pleaded guilty to PTCOJ.
What I meant, it puts everything he said in Court into doubt.

He testified in front of Jury and the Judge that he put Logan on the bank, not into the river.

His words are worthless.

Without knowing the geography of the river I can't be sure, but I don't think it's a big deal really. He could still have got wet scrambling down the bank, even if he hadn't actually put Logan in the river. I'm not sure why he didn't admit that though.
He's been forced to admit most of it because of the CCTV. It's been obvious all along that he lies.

I didn't know about the compression to logans hands, that seems like he was tortured to me.. :(

  • #433
If I remember correctly, someone stomped on his hands or dropped something heavy on them. It's all the little details that make this terrible story even more gruesome.

Thanks to everyone who has provided updates of the trial thus far. It is not a pleasant task I am sure, so I really appreciate it.

Have a nice Easter, and hope to see the 3 get what is deserved when Court resumes.

I've always thought that sounded like something the youth may have done---like stomped on Logan's hand while he was down or something like that.

I think JC and the youth were like a tag team, working together like 2 bullies.

So, did the youth actually push Logan down the stairs or not?

J and Y murder charges please I pray to God
