GUILTY UK - Lorraine Cox, 32, found deceased, Exeter, 31 August 2020 *arrest*

  • #81
I can't see any other verdict than guilty after reading the live updates

Well except that it's very common for a 32 year old to just die of natural causes, and it's the natural response of most people when all these young people die in your company to cut them up into pieces and travel around putting bits all over the place. Give him the benefit of the doubt, don't be too quick to judge

No updates today again?

I see there are updates from this afternoon. Ugh, I really don't think I can stand to hear from him. I usually hope the defendant would take the stand because I really want to hear what they have to say, but this time, no.

My original post got mangled.

I'm not buying that he mistook poor Lorraine for tobacco. He needs to be locked up and the key chucked away. Imagine bumping into him on a dark night. Shiver. Moo.

I don't think his own defence lawyer/team wants to hear either. I wonder what he/they must be thinking??

If this was a TV drama of a court trial, people would say it was too far fetched. The arrogance of the guy is off the scale. MOO.

Yes! I was thinking the same thing.

Reminded of the film "Silence of the Lambs'', almost like the perp wanted to completely command, even inhabit LC's body and her mind too (the texts he sent pretending he was she...)
imo, speculation.

The way it is reported, it sounds like he is being really arrogant, rude and defiant and makes me think he wants to be seen as an a**e. He surely can't think he's endearing himself to the jury. But why? So that he can stay here, in a prison? But that would be easy, just plead guilty

'Prevention of the lawful and decent burial of a dead body is an offence under the common law of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Outside of homicide (to be an added count) it is quite rare. It is triable by indictment and can be punished by, at maximum, life imprisonment, an unlimited fine or both.'

I wish the reporter would finish properly. Report when court has finished for the day and when they are sitting next.
