Nothing has been reported about cause of death.
Do they always release this information?! I suppose not if they think this will be useful in bringing charges! If they don’t release it then the only people who know are the police and the suspect! Said suspect could slip up and drop themselves in it I guess!
Sadly I think they will struggle to find cause of death if he burned her body so badly it had to identified by DNA
Forensics are amazing they have found COD in other cases where the body has been in a very bad condition.
I followed the Soham murders very closely at the time - was on Maternity leave and had access to transcript of the trial. The perpetrator - don’t want to name him - went back and burnt Jessica and Hollie’s bodies. Not much survived ( won’t go into details) and COD never firmly established.I really hope so for Louise's family's sake. It's awful to think he could plead manslaughter in the absence of physical evidence, they need justice for this poor girl
I note from the same link, SM is back in court next week for his PTPH
plea and trial preparation hearing on July 15
I did wonder if next week involved his plea!! I hope he pleads guilty so the family don’t have to go through a long drawn out trial
