She tells the court that during the interview, Nicholson mentioned about a man with tattoos on a bike having been seen arguing with Lucy on the day she disappeared. She said this was "odd" because it hadn't been mentioned, including by Stacey.

Mr Newton-Price reads out Nicholson's sickness record. It shows he had 11 sicknesses between joining Agincare in August 2017, until July 2018. The last sickness was on July 24 - the day before Lucy's disappearance.

Ms Lawrence tells the court that on July 26, Lucy's mother Stacey was working when police came to tell her that a body had been found at Southampton Sports Centre. She said Stacey was "shell-shocked".

That ends the evidence of Ms Lawrence. The court now hears from a licenced search officer from Hampshire Constabulary, who carried out a search of the home Lucy lived in.

She confirms to the court that a number of handwritten notes and diary entries were seized. The officer said photographs were also taken of homework to compare with.

Mr Newton-Price is now cross-examining the officer. He asks about a search of Nicholson's bedroom.

He asks if the search was "thorough and systematic". The officer confirms it was. He also asks if the officers were looking for a knife, because Nicholson was a suspect in Lucy's alleged murder. She confirms officers were looking for a knife.

Mr Newton-Price asks if the police were aware of a supposed find by Richard Elmes of a sex toy in Nicholson's room, after the police search. She confirms she was aware. He asks if there was such a toy there that day. She says there was not. He asks if there were such an item, if she would be confident the police would have found it. She says "yes".

The court is now hearing a statement from a police family liaison officer who was assigned to work on Operation Refund - the name of the police's investigation into Lucy's death.

The statement refers to two calls made to him by Lucy's mother Stacey White, following the alleged discovery of a sex toy in Nicholson's room and the discovery of a letter, supposedly written by Lucy. Both of these items were mentioned earlier in the trial.
