We are renewing our appeal for missing Matthew who has not been seen since April 28.

The last report we received of a sighting of Matthew was on May 6th.

We are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have seen Matthew to contact us. We are also asking for Matthew to make contact with us so we can ensure he is safe and well.

If you have seen Matthew or know where he is, please call 101 quoting Incident 120 of 29th April.

Update as of 6 May:
We believe Matthew was seen in Knight Street in Pinchbeck yesterday afternoon. We are continuing our search to locate him. Please continue to report any possible sightings to us.

We are appealing for help to find Matthew Hunt (47) to ensure he is safe and well.

Matthew was last seen in Brownlow Crescent in Pinchbeck at 8.30am on Wednesday 28th April and hasn’t been seen since.

He is 5ft 9ins tall, slim, has short brown hair and a tattoo on one side of his neck.

Underwater search team looks for missing man

Underwater search team look for missing Pinchbeck man on outskirts of Spalding

A police underwater search unit has been looking for a missing man on the outskirts of Spalding this afternoon.

Officers confirmed that their team has been completing searches of the river bank around the Vernatt's Drain - close to where the A16 crosses the waterway - as part of their ongoing efforts to find Pinchbeck man Matthew Hunt.

It is not thought that he was found as part of this afternoon's search.

A force spokesman said: "The search of the river bank forms part of our enquires in relation to finding Matthew. We do not have any new information at this time.

A body has been found in a Spalding field. Lincolnshire Police believe it is the body of Matthew Hunt, who went missing in April 2021.

On Monday, January 24, shortly after 2pm, officers were called to a field, off West Road, South Drove, Spalding, where the body of a man had been found.

We believe this to be the body of local man Matthew Hunt, who went missing in April 2021. There are no suspicious circumstances and it is believed that he had been there for some considerable time.

This has now been passed to the Coroner’s Office to arrange the process of a formal identification.

Matthew’s family have been informed and we send them our deepest condolences
