Thames Valley Police is continuing to appeal for help in locating a missing man from Earley.

Tristan, aged 21, was last seen in the town at around 11.50pm on Thursday (28/12).

He is of medium build, has short black hair, and is thought to be wearing a black puffer gilet, a black top, grey trousers and vans shoes.

He often frequents Reading town centre.

On Friday (29/12) a rucksack (pictured) that is thought to belong to Tristan was found near Blakes Lock.

Officers, with assistance from Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue, have been carrying out searches between Blakes Lock and Sonning Lock.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Matthew Rees, based at Reading police station, said: “We are continuing to appeal for help in locating Tristan.

“As a result of finding his rucksack by the river, we have carried out searches along the river.

“You may see officers along the riverside as we continue to search for him.

“If you see him please call 999 quoting reference 43230580107.

“Alternatively, if you have information that may help us to find Tristan, you can report this by calling 101 or via our dedicated online form.”

Not much coverage of this missing person. Finding his bag next to the river really isn't a good sign, unless he wanted it to appear like he'd gone in but hasn't... it doesn't seem like that's the case though

If he has entered the river his body will be difficult to find until the water subsides.

Thames Valley Police Reading have released CCTV images of Tristan as part of their continued appeal to find him.

He was last seen on 28 December and these images are from 11.40 pm that day in Station Rd.

“Our enquiries mean we can now place Tristan at Cemetery Junction at around 1.55am on 29 December, walking in the general direction of Reading College and then at 2.20am walking along Kings Road in the direction of the town centre.

“Alternatively, if you have information that may help us to find Tristan, you can report this by calling 101 or via our dedicated online form.”

Thames Valley Police have now confirmed that a body has been discovered in their search for Tristan. Formal identification has not yet taken place but Tristan’s family have been informed.
