Frantic search for missing Rutherglen woman as family's concern grows

An urgent search is underway for 57-year-old Michelle Conroy who was last seen in the Rutherglen area. Her family's concern grows following no contact from her - describing her disappearance as 'extremely unusual'.

'She is described as around 5ft 1in tall, with a slim build and fair shoulder length hair. Michelle was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, pink jogging trousers and a pink jumper draped over her shoulders.'

''Extensive enquiries have been carried out and officers are continuing to review any relevant CCTV in the hope that it provides additional information about Michelle and where she may have gone.

Inspector Liam Byrson said: "It is extremely unusual for Michelle not to be in touch with her family and friends and as there has been no contact from her, they are understandably concerned.''
