Yeah it's STV. They've just recapped what has happened today and detailed the people involved in the search. Also said that several people are helping Police with their enquiries and that the family background is one line of enquiry that the police are looking at.

I am about an hour & a half from Edinburgh, I so hope they find him soon, its very cold and very dark now :(

Sky News reiterated that he is indeed the youngest of 5 children.

Also, showed video of the building main front entrance and the door opens into the building, so would have been even more difficult to pull open, rather than just push it open. The rear main building entrance appears to open inward as well.

The newscaster also had the opportunity to speak with Mikaeel's mother's ex-husband (it was unclear if he is Mikaeel's father) and he is cooperating with police.

Sky reporter just said that he has "spoken to Mikaeels mothers ex husband, who is the father of her older children, unsure if he is Mikaeels father and he said he is cooperating"

Talk about convoluted sky..

Sky news saying they have witnessed police interest in a 3rd flat nearby.

Sky news reporter just insinuated that the CCTV entry system is being checked in the hope it had seen Mikaeel.
I didnt think they had facility to record so I guess we'll hear more about that later.

I have dog class shortly - probably for the best as Im having to reread & delete my posts as Im so frustrated & want to say things that will get me in trouble.

Mikaeel, where are you? I wish we could hear from his family. I fail to understand how they he can still be missing if he had wandered off.

Is it just me or is it odd that none of the family have made an appeal yet? I'm sure that normally someone from the family would have spoken by now, even a grandparent or aunt/uncle.

no... I have seen that happen before.. in fact in the Jessica Ridgeway case it took several days and the parents were needlessly trashed for it and accused.

We need to wait and see what shakes out..

"We are following all lines of inquiry ... the family are being very helpful. As you can imagine, the mother is distraught and she just wants help in finding her child."

Good to know that the family is being helpful.

I'm still a little unclear, has it been determined that Mikaeel was sleeping on the lower floor by himself, while the rest of the family was upstairs? If he was kidnapped, then this makes sense he was the easiest to grab and him being downstairs, it is less likely that someone upstairs would have heard. If he was on the same floor as all of the other children, how/why did the kidnapper grab him?

:(

If this were the type of mischievous kid who wandered off a lot, wouldn't we know that? I get there are some super hyper and renegades kids that age who have to be constantly watched or they'll be on the roof , etc. But if that was the case with him , it seems he would have been checked on in the night and not sleeping alone etc. It seems the whole family would know little M cannot be trusted one minute alone or he'll burn the whole building down because he's just one of those rowdy kids. But we are not hearing that is the case here. . . . . . . . . .

Something is wrong .....

The inward opening apartment door really worries me. I'm small and struggle to pull them open, but I am a lot bigger than Mikaeel. If an adult opened it for him, it's bad news.

Sky News

Exploring many angles, no signs of criminality with regard to searching of the 3rd flat.
