I have learnt something from this. The CRA (Child Rescue Alert) gives the police the right to interrupt TV schedules to send out alerts etc nationwide. That is a very good thing. I had no idea about that.

Is it just me or is it odd that none of the family have made an appeal yet? I'm sure that normally someone from the family would have spoken by now, even a grandparent or aunt/uncle.

I don't think it's as common here to make appeals as it is in some places; it's not a big surprise to me that noone has spoken for the family. Especially as the police comments suggest they've had difficulty locating/speaking to them - possibly English is not a first language for some members.

Yeah you don't see it that often do you? The last missing child case I remember that a parent made an appeal was Karen Matthews and that ended with her 'hanging around' with the media. I don't think things have been the same since but I might be wrong.

Guess it's too hard to say at this point. Could be from another day, another child, an adult. The tech may be stood or on their knees. Hard to know. Poignant photo though.

It seems to be true for the young girl missing in Wales, Nida Ul Naseer. I don't think her mother has ever said a word. That is another strange case - left the home after a row about going to uni, in the rain without coat or shoes. But appparently stopped to put the trash out first.

Sky talked about a handprint but that there was a child in the house where it was found. Suspect it's that one.

just finished work so havent read through yet but watching sky news,

i dont believe hes left on his own and exited those doors alone
and im not getting a sex offender has taken him ie entered house and put his coat and shoes on without being heard crying
someone who knows that boy has taken him ..an thats what im sticking too

April Jones' mother made an appeal but that was two days after April disappeared, and they were sure in that case it was an abduction. Must admit I more often see someone speaking for the family when LE want to observe them....

Sadly yes her Mother has never been seen in public about her disappearance or made a statement through the family even.

Just watching sky news and noticed that the door opens both inward and out. They are still concentrating forensics on the hand print at neighbouring block.

Neighbour said that he is scared of her small dogs........doesn't seem to be the type of child who would go outside alone in the dark I will not be able to sleep tonight worrying for this little one.
