Looks more like an adult print - too high for little Mikaeel?
And wasn't Mikaeel supposed to have put his gloves on?

Another naive question..... would RSO's in the area be known to LE and to other neighbors like they are in the US. Is there a registry for them? Generally when a child goes missing here one of the first things said is " all rso's have been checked or are being checked ' etc. But I don't know if that is common practice there too. Anyone ? tia
How would no socks being missing point to him wandering off by himself? That is a bit of a leap of faith.
Guess it's too hard to say at this point. Could be from another day, another child, an adult. The tech may be stood or on their knees. Hard to know. Poignant photo though.
It's not hard evidence for sure, but it is indicative. A parent/grown up takes the time to put socks on before shoes. Most children do not. I teach preschool, and after any activity where shoes are removed like nap time a large majority of children want to skip socks and just put on their tennies.
Mikaeels beauty therapist mum Rosdeep Kulars family originate from India.

They married in Glenrothes in 2004 before moving to Edinburgh and had two sons Tarun, nine, and David, seven, and daughter Renuka, five.
The couple split and Rosdeep moved back to Kirkcaldy before she met another man and gave birth to twins, Mikaeel Zayn Kular and Ashika Miskinah Rosie Kular on 7 May 2010.

One neighbour, who asked not to be named, said:We heard that there had been trouble in the stair in the morning.
Im not sure what went on but a man ran out wearing a hoody shortly before the police came.
My daughter was watching from the window and said that a man wearing a dark hoody ran out the building, but she didnt know what had happened inside.

N G, 35, who lives opposite the family said that she often seen him out playing and said he was always smiling.
He was a happy boy, hes always had a smile on. Id see his mum playing with him and his brother and sisters.
They have a little baby in the house too which is only about five months so Id see her playing with the baby a lot.
Mikaeels birth certificate reveals he was born to Rosdeep Kular, 33, a customer services assistant with a gas company.
His father is not listed.
