maybe I am cynical, but I want to know when he was last seen by anyone else.

Mikaeel looks a normal-height, sturdy baby in that photo.

Now at three, he is apparently only 2ft tall, his face looks a little drawn and he has a scar on his nose, sore on his mouth and felt unwell, from an unspecified illness. And no family member has uttered a word on this little one's behalf yet. The silence is grating.

The Daily Mail mentioned the mother's online profile where she talks about five kids and 'the man indoors'. I wonder how old that post is, because all the police reports say she lives alone with the children, I thought?

There is also an early report from a neighbour of some kind of noisy dispute and a man in a hoodie running from the apartment, the night Mikaeel disappeared. But mom told police no-one but her and the children have access to the home.

No idea if there is ANY connection at all, but I think it is worth pointing out that benefits/housing costs available to a single mom can be significantly affected in England if mom has a man move in with her. Especially if he is working. It is presumed he is contributing a certain amount to household expenses.

I wonder if someone else had been living at the home in previous weeks, and if a relationship had recently ended. I couldn't sleep last night thinking of this little man and started to think about who else could have had keys to the building/apartment such as an ex-boyfriend or other family members, maybe even previous tenants etc.

If you look at the photo of mum in the Daily Mail, coats are hung up on the door behind her.

Where did you read that Zwiebel?

I didn't sleep much either, I went to bed at 3.30, woke at 8 and jumped out of bed and turned on the news hoping for good news. Speaking of, sky news are really peeing me off. There is a missing 3 yr old, a big news story and they are banging on about their 'A Fair Cop' poll, it's not even news it's their own 'poll based' story. Get your act together sky! :banghead:

Def the Father of Mikaeel could have keys.

Police are live on Sky News right now speaking to volunteers

Police making a statement outside the community centre.

Thanks everyone for coming, thanks all volunteers for their patience waiting for them to start. Reminds everyone of health and safety, to stay warm. Points out the amount of parents with small children and asks that they think of their own health and safety, no matter how much they want to help, it must come first.

Stresses how important it is the search is thorough, everyone to meet at Silverknowes for instructions and co-ordinations.

Good luck everyone!

Asking Volunteers to go to Silverknowes and Crammond areas to meeting with the Search co-ordinators.

Business are offering their services and are bring refreshments for search teams and volunteers. Police are co-ordinating this.

Also forensics are checking all the flat security doors for Mikaeel's DNA/fingerprints etc. So hopefully that will turn up with something on whether or not he opened the door but if he was wearing gloves (I find it hard to believe he left alone and put his gloves on before leaving?) then that may come to nothing :( Have to wonder if Mikaeel went out to look for his Mum if she had gone out before all night and left the children before :( It's either that or Dad has taken him (and I'm sorry to say possibly didn't take the twin sister because perhaps it would have been riskier and tbh boys are prized over girls in Islamic and many Asian cultures.
