Very worrying reading reports that he may have been missing earlier than reported!!
I wish they would confirm when the little one was last seen, it should be simple to find out when he was last at nursery!!!

Was good to see the support of the community involved in the search, all still hoping and praying he is found safe.

I wonder if the CCTV footage has all been checked yet.( don't know how long this would take).
So if mikael didn't attend nursery due to illness, I wonder if the other children were in school. Was he seen on the school run with mum?

So many questions, be safe little one x

Thinking along these lines, wasn't there reports of a man running out the building early Morning Thursday? Maybe this was his dad coming round
(Unexpectedly?) at which point he realises mikaeel's not there so the mother then had to raise the alarm at 7.15
that Mikaeel is missing?

hopefully the other children have been interviewed by specialists (that know how to interview children).

I further hope (after following so many cases) that the entire building has been searched to include the attic and any storage or crawl spaces.

cctv has not pulled up anything as of yet according to sky news..if he went wed night/morning that wouldnt take so long to find something

like tia sharp..no cctv ..she hadnt left the home..

they did this in the Summer Thompson case as well (but actually took the entire truck)

maybe it is trash day there today and they are preventing the local garbage going out so they can rule it out?

A Local Team Office in 8 West Pilton Gardens in the north of the city was opened for people wanting to assist the search, which resumed at 10am. The Missing People charity is showing images of Mikaeel's face on big screens at railway stations and other public places.

Police have also released an image of Mikaeel in the beige hooded coat with a grey fur-lined hood.

Mikaeel is slim, 3ft, of Asian appearance and may have been wearing black gloves with multi-coloured fingers, dark navy blue jogging bottoms, a grey pyjama top with a distinctive embroidered turquoise dinosaur on the chest and brown Clarks shoes.

He has a faded scar on the bridge of his nose and a sore on the left hand side of his mouth.

I linked the trash calender earlier for the street. Normal trash is due to be collected Wednesday the 22nd, food waste is collected weekly.....actually, I've forgotten the rest of the schedule now. Will have to get the link again!

SKY news: possible sighting, yesterday morning. A little boy seen wearing a hat or cap running down a road, and fitting Mikaeel's description.

Witnesses were in a car.

Why on earth they didn't stop is beyond me. Apparently (paraphrasing) they were surprised or remembered the incident because a child so small was out alone.

Trouble is, 8.30am is school run time. Probably plenty of children fitting that description running ahead of their parents down the road. Surprised only one lot of witnesses have reported this sighting, if its true. Surely it would be one of the busiest times of the day?

In the last few minutes Police Scotland have said there has been a potential sighting of Mikaeel Kular in the West Pilton area.

A member of the public was driving along a road at 8.30am when he saw a little boy, potentially Mikaeel, walking along.
