Surely it is being done to keep Nicola in public thoughts?I wonder if it’s being done to slip up any perp. JMO.

Yeah might’ve been someone asking something from the other side of the gate and the dog was still running around and she’d normally put the harness and lead on past the gate so didn’t want to bother doing that - just left the dog running. Maybe the perp asked for instructions or was acting lost or something and she’s gone through the gate to give an instruction or show something quickly? Pure speculation JMOIf there is a potential perp they could have started up a friendly chat and she may have said she was on a conference call but just listening in.
I am 99% certain I haven't imagined it and I have searched and searched for the source to no avail. Does anyone have any recollection of a report stating as NB passed a witness both of their phones had 'shown' that they had passed each other. They may well have procured a geofence warrant which will show every phone that was in that vicinity at that time.
This is speculation, there is no MSM or police report to support this theory.
I get it, but does anybody actually think she’s still alive at this point?
thank you! but here's another query for you or anybody else who watched
part of transcript from the Sun, but this bit I have bolded is unclear too

Walker asked the heartbroken partner " When did it feel, where’s Nikki? At what point did that kick in?"
Paul replied: "I just went in the house, put the kettle on, made a cup of tea, went into the living room, and thought I’ve got on an hour now to sort of chill and get myself ready for the day.
"Which is what I did. So she's usually back, like, quarter to 10, average 10 o'clock. At a push. So I’d gone up into the office at 10.
"Thinking that she’d be back in a minute, I was just going through some emails and stuff, setting my day up.
"It got to say quarter past 10, and that’s when I thought she was later than usual, but I still wasn't particularly worried because she has come back at quarter past 20 sometimes.
"And again, there was no answer. I tried the mobile again and no answer.
"Now I sort of started to get a bit bit panicky I think. So that's when I thought I'm gonna have to go down there and see if she’s alright.
"See if I can see the car or you know, see what's going on. But I still expected that I’d just get there and you know there she is.
"I just thought basically I'm gonna go out, find her, come home do a bit of work."

No. I definitely did not see that but I could have missed it.I am 99% certain I haven't imagined it and I have searched and searched for the source to no avail. Why?I have a real sense of unease watching this
I wonder, just wonder, whether the Police are quietly leading the family in the background to the realisation that this poor lady is quite frankly not going to be found alive and indeed any earthly remains may not be found either. If the making of this programme has been driven by the family I might wonder if this is the case and its a last ditch attempt by the family to absolutely keep Nicola in the news and people keeping an eye out for her. There will come a point when sadly things will be wound down and I am wondering whether we are approaching that. I fully accept that people can disappear without trace by choice or by other means but I think things are slowly getting to the stage where things will be wound down and I think that this interview (if family driven) may be an attempt to prevent that happening. One may wonder if it is indeed kinder to keep hope when all is lost or to perhaps face facts, however unpalatable. It's the children I feel for, because their lives are tainted before they have even started... Dreadfully, dreadfully tragic. But when have you ever seen a documentary like this TWO weeks after someone goes missing?? It’s just strange IMO.
Hugely agree with your last paragraphI wonder, just wonder, whether the Police are quietly leading the family in the background to the realisation that this poor lady is quite frankly not going to be found alive and indeed any earthly remains may not be found either. I think it's just missing out a word. So he would have said "she has come back at quarter past 20 past sometimes"thank you! but here's another query for you or anybody else who watched

Seeing the sonar scans definitely moved me in the scale away from the river somewhat.I have a new theory (for me) about all this now.
IMO PA is 100% innocent, absolutely no doubt… but I’m convinced someone did something bad. Cant say who, and I don’t know what, but you know when you just get a feeling? (MOO)
Did it say why he was going to look ?Getting ready to go and search and had changed into gym gear when received a call from school
What are the inconsistencies? I haven’t seen it, only read the transcript but I thought it tidied up some of the inconsistencies…There are a lot of inconsistencies in this interview.
I don’t think it was a good decision to do it. Channel 5 must be rubbing their hands together, best ratings they’ve had in a long time.
