Im finding it extremely hard to believe these are different people... hair length looks to match (Nicola had lonnger?)

Emma looks EXACTLY like the person in the CCTV..

Please tell me im not the only one that instantly thought this.

I agree, it's very strange!
Mentioned this yesterday and was laughed at... but the resemblance is uncanny.
As much as they do look similar, the quality of the image, angle and lighting can really play a part here. The alternative as to what is possibly being suggested is a bit of a stretch.

Interesting PF says that there are rocks where NB would have essentially fallen in.

The stone steps mentioned previously on this site?

it's very shallow .....

Maybe they meant to say where she was last seen
Possibly, but the area around the bench and the fact they are letting us know 'that if the search area becomes too WIDE' they will need to draft in a lot more help and 'criminal elements have been discarded'. They'd not let people merrily roam the area if they seriously thought those that would endanger them were in the vicinity.

Peter F's puzzlement also rather points to all this too. Just IMO. Also the fact that that this might be incredibly difficult, trying to balance being very honest and accountable with being privy to something you can't share as yet.

All I'm saying is we are told these are images from the morning she went missing.
We don't actually know when these images were recorded.

I’m assuming on the river bed he says ‘if I fell in I would land on rocks’

Yes, but he said, at the edges it is very shallow, and I don't think you wouldn't fall in to the middle of the river
Im more just perplexed that people have been absolutely adament for the last 11 days that she couldn't have drowned as it was only 50cm of water, yet now we learn its 8x as deep as we first thought. We even had people saying "deep hole" was just a name. Whereas now we know deep hole is called deep hole as its a bl**dy deep hole!

I am now even more certain than I was that she went in the water.

They are time and date recorded as far as I’m aware.

Blimey...!
Got to say - you're right - she does.
Even the diagonal stitching on the coat. (NB's was horizontal in all the images I've seen)
Presumably the daughters have been asked who actually took them to school that day. This is starting to feel weird and I'm definitely not a conspiracy theorist.

I’m beginning to think she slipped in a shallower part, recovered, or even went in to a shallower part to help willow with something, but tripped into deeper water when navigating rocks in thick soled wellies. Easily done sadly.

Yes, absolutely. I gave up arguing the point regarding how deep this particular part of the river is.

The police are so adamant she’s in the water, it makes me rethink my stance. They must have a reason to be so sure.
Absolutely.

Agree, in reality

A deep hole possibly with a lot of mud and silt at the bottom

NB does not seem to have much of a digital footprint prior to the pandemic. Not under current/maiden name or potential previous name or variations including middle name. Strange considering how much she used Facebook for both personal and business recently.

He is being helped out by another diver.

It is not going to be at all easy to get out of there. What do you hold onto? The only part of your body which can help you here is your hands and with nothing like a railing to hold onto you are not going to be getting out. You can't grip wet steps with your hands.

IMO the steps may make it more likely someone would go down to the water thinking it was an ok access but getting back out, if you accidentally find yourself in the water, wet clothes, shock and nothing to hold onto ?

I don't think I'd be abe to do that. No way.

I think those steps may be related to anglers. They often build access arrangements down to the water level and either stand in the water with chest waders or make a platform out of a pallet or something.

That diver in the picture is not getting out of there by himself. Look where his hands are !

Does anyone know what the divers visibility is like in the river? Do they just eyeball it, or do they have underwater tech to see objects?
