The reason we have only heard prosecution witnesses so far is that the defence case has only just started !!
Maybe every man and his dog from her past will stand up and vouch for her.
Who knows ;-)

Come to think of it, we have not heard a character reference from doc choc. I wonder why? Wonder what they spoke about over coffee or those long walks.

or lol he might get called by the defence to testify again. However probably biased, everyone knows what happens when you friendzone someome.

The last part isn't true; at least one other nurse hung up some of the bags.

All been entered into evidence.
And LL was monitoring the baby and had access to that bag after it was hung up.

She’s admitted she stuffed handover sheers into her pockets, so she could’ve easily hid a syringe of insulin in her pocket too. Or even an empty one to inject air.

Also worth bearing in mind is how exhausted the mother would have been. She would have undoubtedly been sleep deprived at this point, probably in pain, possiby even in agony.
What the mother would have been going through would have likely been traumatic and psychologically devastating.

None of the above is conducive to forming crystal clear, reliable memories.
She’d remember seeing blood coming from her baby’s mouth and heating his screams, though.

She wouldn’t have been in agony as she wouldn’t have been able to walk that far, she wouldn’t have even been able to get out of bed.

She’d given birth by C-section, I believe, and as a mother myself I can tell you now, James, mothers aren’t in agony after giving birth. The fact she walked that far to deliver milk proves she wasn’t in pain, let alone pain.

I used to think better of ***.

suspension

noun

1
: the act of suspending : the state or period of being suspended: such as
a
: temporary removal (as from office or privileges)

b
: temporary withholding (as of belief or decision)
c
: temporary abrogation of a law or rule
d(1)
: the holding over of one or more musical tones of a chord into the following chord producing a momentary discord and suspending the concord which the ear expects
specifically : such a dissonance which resolves downward

“suspension from clinical duties”

the word was not used in an official sense, it was a reference to an action by the management.

I will say no more.
And yet management initially said via their emails it was redeployment as did ll in her statement about not being with anyone because of the “redeployment”.
Potatoes, potatoes, tomatoes tomatoes.

Maybe the shredder will clarify certain points of contention..

Plenty of staff have testified to who she is. Not a bad word amongst it at all levels.
Not a bad word? Really? Didn't a small group of her superiors demand that she be taken off the floor because she was a danger to others?

Discussing the shredder maybe. Perhaps she left the instructions at his.

Did they? Who was that?

I doubt it would vouch for her haha
She starved it - despite tonns of handover sheets lying around.
What a shame!

Interesting because if the jury decide that she is guilty of baby E's murder then there are several factors in Baby E's case that fit in with alleged patterns seen in other babies

  • Alleged air embolism
  • Bleeding from mouth/throat
  • A twin who was allegedly posioned with insulin

All JMO
I would say it is indeed a gateway to many of the other charges. As you say, there are other babies with throat bleeding/swelling - babies C, G and N, but not only that, it establishes that the accused has the propensity for the alleged extreme physical brutality of causing trauma to the livers of babies O and P. In fact all of the alleged acts are brutal.

I think the prosecution might do well, IMO, to work on getting an admission or display of a tightly concealed rage with LL. These are not the (alleged) acts of a sugarplum fairy, if guilty and proven.

And completely forgot of it's existence! Poor shredder.

Tbh I think the cats ghosts will feel like they got justice after all, probably sat in the gallery hissing at her. Just walk around her cell all night hence the jumpiness in court.

There was no team standing there at that time. Just her, alone with the mother of the baby that died. Using the term 'we' makes no sense to me, in that context. Either she told the mom to leave or she didn't. Calling in her imaginary army makes no sense, imo.
And why would she tell the mother to leave when parents are welcome to stay in the unit 24/7 ? WHY did LL want rid of the mum?

Even if the baby was in grave danger and about to die, the staff want the family to be close to them at the very end.

And if LL thought the blood coming his mouth was insignificant she’d have still wanted his mum to be there.

Lucy Letby had a reason to get his mum to leave the ICU unit…IMO

As for the swipe timings on the door, that could be a simple glitch or even LL scanning the mum’s card on her way out by crafty means. Whatever, phone records prove the mum called her husband in distress before she left the ward, which means that scan timing on the door needs looking into as the mum definitely arrived sooner than LL claims or when the card was swiped.

IMO. LL pre-planned many things to try and exonerate herself for possible future investigations.

Tbf the ammount of papers she had, she probably killed the poor thing. Possibly took one look at that pile and thought hell no!

Oh right, it was the use of the term 'superiors' that confused me!
Oh, sorry. I thought dr Breary was a superior to her, being a consultant.
