I thought I read that, but perhaps I’m confusing her with another baby. She was 100 days old though, so I imagine must’ve been close at least to full term.

Very pre-term babies never reach the weight they would have done if born at term. You can't compete with a placenta! :D

Yes, so true. My nephew arrived very early and he didn’t even appear on the standard growth charts at all until he was at least 2, even with his adjusted age. Then, seemingly overnight age 7, he was suddenly one of the tallest in his class!

Other question in relation to the insulin readings. Can we expect the judge to clear things up during his summing up, on whether NJ or BM is correct on which baby had higher amounts of insulin, or is it possible for a witness to be recalled still to clear things up?
It's based on the defence not accepting the evidence from the experts and the lab. So it's not that there has been evidence presented by any witness that baby L received less.

Yes, they do catch up in the end!

Mr. Myers is reported as saying that Baby H (the baby with 3 chest drains) was not sedated. This would mean the poor baby had no pain relief. I can't find anything to verify this. She wasn't paralysed, but that's totally different, so I'm wondering if he's mixed up the two?
Over to you!!

Was he talking about a particular time as there were a few references to baby H receiving morphine so there was definitely some pain relief given .

To my mind this ceasing of looking up the parents is significant and 'means' something... but what!?

I wonder if she had incidentally come off FB for separate reasons? For example, a lot of people migrated off FB a few years ago when it became mainstream news that FB was tracking and influencing algorithms and mining one's data, plus it went out of fashion with the younger generation. Also depending on what device she was using, a lot of people took FB off their mobile phones due to the advancement of things like WhatsApp and SnapChat. Plus the amount of space it takes up.

Maybe she just deleted the app off her phone and then didn't do it any more?

JMO MOO

It was recently mentioned that she had made a status on Facebook thanking people for their support in such a difficult time (paraphrasing), I can't remember when it was posted but I believe in June 2016 so she was still on FB at the time.

I may be completely wrong because I can't find the quote now but I'm sure it was around that time

The new year one?

On New Year's Eve 2016 Letby wrote on Facebook: "I'm not the same person I was when 2016 began but I'm fortunate to have my own home. I've met some incredible people and I have family and friends who have stood by me regardless.

"Thank you to those have kept me smiling. Wishing every happiness to us all in 2017."

I just spent TWENTY MINUTES searching for this and you came back within 5 minutes. Yes, that's the one, thank you! It wasn't in June 2016 I was lying

Or design?

I'm sure he could have produced an expert but it seems logical to presume in the absence of one that they would agree with the prosecution on this. I think he would have produced one if his argument was credible. JMO

I think Myers is relying on the length/weight of the trial to blur the lines to be honest. He's basically repeating what he said in the opening and during cross - nada evidence

It relates to the insertion of the second chest drain. (From today's Chester Standard).

LL has the right to have that defence for sure, but it’s so challenging to read this stuff every day without ANY experts on their side refuting some of these things medically.

Experts are NOT on anybody's side.
The only side they are faithful to is SCIENCE.
