Monitoring Twitter. Nothing yet.

Ditto and am surprised there's nothing there yet! Mind you, who needs twitter these days when you have snapchat and all of those other IM apps - damn I feel old!

I wonder which shop. The one who said they'd served her a roll or the one who said they just saw her and waved. And which of those two was the last sighting. Did she wave before going into the shop next door or wave on her way out?

IIRC, Paige bought a roll at the Deli, but it was Ashi Ahmed, Fleming Foodstore, the adjacent shop, who said he had seen her and waved to her. The shops are side by side, so presumably Mr Ahmed had to have been at the front of his shop in order to have seen Paige either going into or coming out of the Deli.
Mr Ahmed was also quoted as saying he had spoken to the Deli owner who said Paige was fine and normal.

Thanks. I've just found an article that says she was buying a roll and sausage when he saw her. But the quoted part just says she passed his shop door. It sounds like she walked past his shop and was on her way in to the shop next door (rather than him seeing her after she'd bought the roll). Does that fit with the direction she'd have been walking? ie she'd have had to walk past his shop to get to the delicious deli... and then would have carried on walking? Meaning he wouldn't see if she ever came out?

Shopkeeper Ashy Ahmed, who runs the Fleming Foodstore on Fleming Avenue, said he saw her at 8.15 am, when she was buying a roll and sausage from the Delicious Deli next door shop.
He said: “I was doing my rolls, as I always do, so I know the time was quite accurate.
“Paige came walking past, right by the door and I waved at her and she put her hand up to wave back.
“She had been in the week before and bought a roll but on Saturday she went into Johnny’s next door to get one.
“I spoke to him later and he said she was cheery and bright, just the way she always is.

I almost asked you if you knew anyone at the scene who could live stream / send pics [emoji5]

:gaah:why don't they have CCTV!!!!! I was so hoping that would be a big help.
I was thinking these buses would probably still be quite busy with people travelling into Glasgow for the day on the Saturday? Okay it's not work commute busy but I still think there would be quite a bit of foot and vehicle traffic.
I don't think she has been attacked where she was found, but surly the police would know that by looking at the scene and blood evidence. So I think she must have gotten into a car with someone, and someone she knew at that.

As if the family aren't going through enough! Sicko! [emoji36] I can't recall which case it was but the same type of thing happened, but they posted a video on YouTube claiming they either did it or know who did & knew where her body was.. Makes you wonder what goes through their head to make sickening remarks like that!

Natalie, remember Amber Peat? Someone put a very graphic account of her killing on FB (I think I messaged it to you at the time). It turned out not to be true, Amber had hung herself. I don't think I've read anything as sick since.

Forensics are everywhere, the place is crowded.

Interesting! And giving me flashbacks to Ian Huntley who was responsible for the deaths of Holly Wells & Jessica Chapman in Soham, UK in 2002. He was "so helpful" and couldn't wait to give interviews to the media...

I swear as soon as I seen him I though the same...

Still we don't know which shop do we?

Tweets saying forensics are searching scar in Clydebank now and that there's lots of police activity

Yes its the Deli, I don't really want to say his name until its confirmed. They're searching his house and car and the deli is completely taped off. He's owned the business for a few years. So why now?

Hearing this also 🙁 Apparently vehicles taken from a nearby home address too.
