mmm I couldn't be a 100% sure but I think over here in Scotland our MC clubs are less Sons of Anarchy-esque (much to their dismay) and more 'my engine is bigger than your engine'. Just guys meeting up to ride and compare bikes really.

Gotcha. I was gathering that from the pics I have seen but MC means more to my family than to most so maybe I look at things differently? Idk about other states but in mine, to officially establish an MC, you would have to set up a charter through the state and typically would need an outlaw club (like the Sons of Anarchy, thank you for referencing that) backing up up your MC. That doesn't always happen but territorially speaking, it makes life much easier!

I could be wrong but from his pictures he looks quite clean cut rather than a Hells Angel type of biker. so I'm not convinced he would be part of any kind of biker clan.

P.S the roll and sausage things seems to be a purely Scottish thing, so it threw some of us (non Scottish) Brits too lol.

HA! Thank you! I feel better about the rolls now. [emoji6]

As for being a clean cut biker vs Hells Angel-ish, you may be VERY surprised, at least here in the states. [emoji41]

One of my favourite shows! and it's certainly had an impact over here, generating more interest in MC's. I think over here its maybe more of a hobby rather than a way of life? particularly in this instance anyway.

This is strange "He doesn't even know" whether Paige bought breakfast there On Saturday?

Hours before the swoop on the takeaway, Mr Leathem — known as Johnny — spoke to The Scottish Sun.

He joked with our reporter but declined to discuss Paige’s visit.

He said: “I have two children of my own and if anything was to happen to them, I wouldn’t want anyone speaking to the Press about them.”

Asked if he could confirm that Paige bought breakfast from the shop on Saturday, he said: “I don’t even want to say that.”

He added: “I mean, I don’t even know.”

Paige's Grandad has said she had never run away in her life

PAIGE’S grandad yesterday slammed Police Scotland for suggesting she was a runaway.

William Munro, 54 , said the schoolgirl’s family were offended at a statement suggesting she had disappeared before.

He also said officers were slow to issue an appeal for information about Paige’s disappearanc e.

William added: “I read the suggestion that Paige has run away before and that is just a lot of rubbish.

“Paige was a fantastic girl from a close-knit family.

“She had never run away in her life.”

[emoji4] It has had an impact over here too, for better AND for worse. That being said, the majority of MCs here are huge on charity and helping those less fortunate so I would also like to clarify- I don't mean to imply that just b/c JL is in an MC, he or his club would be willing to go in the direction of taking a beautiful life too soon b/c it was or became an interference. It's just another angle I couldn't help but think about when I took notice of it.

Oh thats weird, especially since we have already heard from AA and how JL had said she had been into his shop. I'm guessing he was none to pleased about AA's discussion with the media.

I wonder if he wasn't actually there...a thought of a jealous wife just flashed through my mind, though only he has been arrested AFAIK. I wonder how soon afterwards AA spoke to him. I'm assuming it wouldn't have been till much later when Paige's friends were looking for her.

Yeah that's been one of many of the things i've considered this evening since the news came out. I did wonder if we would see other arrests. In this article though AA said he spoke to JL and JL said Paige was 'cheery and bright'. Which makes me think JL seen her or at least inferred he seen her. Plus AA knew about the roll and sausage.

I don't think I'll ever be able to eat a roll and sausage again without thinking of this case. It's like Nathan Matthews and the word 'obviously' all over.

Oh I didn't think you were implying that! It's good to explore all angles! Everyone will pick up on the bits of information that mean something significant to them. Like us Scottish members and the roll and sausage :)

Good point (and thank you for not reading along the SOA lines w/ my posts)! I'm betting w/ all those significant things we are all exploring in this case, we WS'ers won't be too shocked when it all comes together. I just hope it is fast, for Paige and her family so they can at least start the healing process. [emoji17]

Police Scotland must have known that her phone was turned off at the deli. Getting AA to speak the news with the deli behind him was a very smart tactic. They were basically telling the deli owner they knew it was him.

I posted the article with AA's interview saying did anything stand out, it was the level of detail AA went into that seemed odd to me. I didn't think it was AA though as he would have had cctv in his shop easily proving it was not him.

So the motive must be sexual what else would JL want with a 15 year old girl to have to silence her but looking at his SM I don't get a creepy vibe from him.

No me neither but many of us didn't get the vibe from kayleigh haywoods alleged killer Stephen Bead man. Most got the vibe from luke Harlow who, whilst he is still a wrong'un hasn't been implicated in her murder.

Some people are just better at keeping an air of respectability about them

I've got two - one 6 and one 10. Dreading the 10yr old going to high school next year. I'll be marching her everywhere yet I remember when I was her age I went to high school right across town and had to catch 2 buses there and 2 back. Never batted an eyelid about it. Nowadays...

Once again I say, Adam Johnson - looks and appearance and the face people show to the rest of the world can be very deceptive ...

Yes I've got two 5 and 3 and I had to catch two buses to get to high school but I can't imagine allowing mine to do same differant times I guess but we are a lot more aware now.

Yes, it's maddening he could have had any woman of his choosing in his position nearly and yet he has to go after a child. Sicko
