Tobin’s victims have been found at one of his workplaces and one of his residences. So perhaps the police should check his other workplaces and residences

If the reported 48 number is accurate, it is thought that would make him the second-worst identified serial killer in the UK in modern times, behind Dr Harold Shipman, who is thought to have killed around 250.
Today, the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service announced a probe into this death because it occurred after he fell in his cell on September 8, 2022 at HMP Edinburgh.
He died on October 8, 2022 at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and his ashes were scattered at sea -
despite Miss Hamilton's father pleading for the ashes to be sent to him so he could flush them down the toilet."

Does anyone have a definitive (as possible) timeline of Tobin's activities during this period, or know of any FOI requests that might shed some light on what he was up to?
We know he was actively killing during this period and has at least spent time in Coventry as two years later he was found hiding out there amongst a Christian cult.
If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it.

Looking at the disappearances of Jessie Earl and Louise Kay, along with the murders he's been prosecuted for, it seems his MO is to murder/disappear a young woman or girl under the age of 20, promptly flee the area, then check himself in to a hospital in the new town for fake medical problems or stay with some sort of religious institution.
Other disappearances he's been linked to through Operation Anagram don't always seem to fit this MO - my guess is he only flees when he's done something bad where he lives.
I still like him for Barbara Finn and Nicola Payne, who both disappeared within 3 months of each other in Coventry 1991, though Barbara is a bit old for him. He was known to live in Margate at the time, quite a drive from Coventry though.

Back in the early nineties, Tobin lived in a flat in my home town with his son. He hired two young girls to babysit. he attacked one or both ,I can't remember now, then turned on the Gas taps. Both managed to escape ,He was convicted for this so I know he was in Hampshire around that time,

Another name may be one more victim. 28 year old Glaswegian Linda Angus vanished from Suffolk date not known 1974.Linda was known to have been in the Lakenheath air base area in the early 70s.
Possibly linked to the August 1st 1974 disappearance of 17 year old Glaswegian Mary Boyle. Mary had worked in a chip shop in Cromer, Norfolk & was last seen on the above date saying she was going back to Scotland.
Not much out there on these ladies so please add or correct any mistakes

I’ve always wondered if this was the monster who brutally attacked and beat my mother when she was 15. She was beaten so badly she lost a lot of her teeth. He attacked her while she was waiting on a bus. He dragged her into a close and attacked her but she managed to escape. Her father (my grandfather) searched the streets for a long time trying to find this monster. My mother is now in her 70s. I can’t help but wonder if it was Peter Tobin.
I need to add this also. My mother herself thought it could have been Peter Tobin.
So sorry to hear about this. Where and when did the attack take place?
it was on north Glasgow in about 1969-1970s I think. My mum still to this day finds it hard to talk about.
