Found Deceased UK - Petra Srncova, 32, senior nurse assistant, London, 28 Nov 2021 *Arrest*

Since 28 Nov was a Sunday, the hospital cashpoint may have been out of money. They may not get serviced or refilled over the weekend.

Why are we only hearing about this now? Is it clear to LE what happened and they just haven't located Petra's remains yet? If so, why would they make an appeal now? What's up with guy who was arrested?

What was Petra's living situation? She was a nursing assistant, not a nurse, so I'm guessing that differs in pay scale, not that nurses are rolling in dosh either, vastly underpaid imo.

ETA: Just saw that forensics are at her flat today. :(

I know people say it can take a while to report to public these cases but honestly we all know it doesn’t have to be like that. There has been plenty of other missing persons cases in past that have had a public appeal ASAP.

It’s been way too long. I can’t understand it.

There’s a CCTV camera directly above her front door but not the neighbour’s.

Perhaps she was under protection because of domestic violence. My mother in law was stabbed this year by a man she’d been living with for two years. It was horrific and there’s a lot more detail than that but the police installed panic alarms *and* CCTV in a similar way.

Hadn’t looked closely enough for that. Maybe something has/will show up. Presumably they have already checked them. Maybe LE thought they knew what had happened (hence the man in custody) but turns out they don’t which is why they are asking public now?

If she was the victim of DA - domestic abuse - (the perp arrested) she might have decided to vanish - hence the withdrawal of money.
Just a thought.

Domestic Abuse

By the way, a poster earlier wrote that this man had been previously arrested. And now this camera.
Interesting.

Yes says he was ‘previously “ arrested in connection with disappearance and remains in custody.
Thanks @Dotta

I'm not certain that's her front door, the forensics person seems to be walking past it.

There is a person with what looks like blonde hair standing at the entrance of the last flat along that row. It could be no one related but I did wonder if it was a police officer standing at the threshhold, or perhaps even asking questions of a neighbour of Petra's.

Only just heard about this. Is it known which road her flat is?

Not yet... we only know it's in Camberwell. There's not much to go by but I've looked at the video showing Harriet Harman (MP for Camberwell and Peckham) and some other ladies distributing and putting up missing posters of Petra and judging by where they were walking by I have a feeling it could be D'eynsford Estate (though I have yet to figure out precisely which one of its blocks of flats).

Thankyou @JuicyLucy for bringing this thread to my attention. I'm really surprised I'm only today hearing about it which makes me think police knew very quickly what has happened and who is involved. They haven't put out any warnings to local residents about the safety of the area so I believe whoever is in custody is most likely the perp and I'm going to take a guess that it's a neighbour.

All MOO of course.

It's Elmington Road, near the turning into Sansom Street.

That whole area is so dodgy. Not been there specifically but the surrounding areas are kinda creepy in the daytime, I'd hate to imagine what they'd be like at night. Hopefully Petra is found safe.

But the name is intriguing haha

I think naming an area after a pub might be a south London tradition. There's also the Bricklayers Arms not far from there, also named after a long gone pub.
