It's intriguing- I can't believe he got bail. The police must have been very convinced he was an unwitting participant.
''At a short hearing at Bristol Crown Court, Mrs Justice May set a date for Ms Gordon's trial of 26 April 2021.When is this case due to come to trial ?
Hi Lindsay and welcome to WS
I have just snipped a section from your link above which I found interesting.
As he was cleared of charges, I have blocked out his name.
Last month, lawyers acting for 39-year-old co-defendant ****** ******** from Wolverhampton successfully argued to have a charge of assisting an offender dismissed against him.
The move was opposed by the Crown Prosecution Service, who confirmed after the hearing that the father-of-two taxi driver and handyman was no longer facing criminal charges in connection with the case
I haven’t found any updates as to when the April trial will forward.
Welcome to Ws Lindsay Lou Who!Do you mean when the trial will start? (Apologies if I have misunderstood) Looking at all the MSM articles the trial is due to begin April 26th 2021 at Bristol Crown Court.
It will be interesting to see what details are released during the trial.
Welcome to Ws Lindsay Lou Who!

Murder trial date after remains of Phoenix Netts found in suitcases
''The judge set a provisional date of April 26 next year for the trial, which is expected to last up to two weeks.''
That’s actually an interesting idea. Or if a person was fleeing domestic violence for example, then I guess they might not have any social media or online presence at all in order to keep their location secret.Thank you!
I am so intrigued by this case. There has been very little information. I wonder if the accused was previously given some sort of new identity due to her past or people she may have previously been involved with? It would certainly explain the lack of MSM reporting / photos.
MOO
thank you, There is so little information on this case. I was hoping to hear why.

Not that I would be interested in seeing it myself (happier to see the lovely pic of Phoenix), but I thought there might be a photo of GG here.rbbm.
Woman admits murdering Phoenix Netts after body found in Forest of Dean
''Gareeca Conita Gordon, also 28, pleaded guilty to murdering Netts between 14 April and 12 May 2020. The women are believed to have lived in neighbouring rooms at a hostel for women in Birmingham.
Gordon was due to stand trial for Netts’s murder next week but appeared before Bristol crown court via video link from Eastwood Park women’s prison in Gloucestershire to admit the charge.
No details of the motive for the killing or circumstances were given in court and Gordon, who spoke only to confirm her identity and plead guilty, will be sentenced next month. Judge Peter Blair QC, the recorder of Bristol, remanded Gordon in custody''.
''Gordon, who was wearing glasses and a brown sweatshirt, will be sentenced by the high court judge Mrs Justice Cutts at Bristol crown court on 4 May.''
