I was wondering about cell phones too. Did anybody hear about cell phones?

I know it's a blog, but Michelle Malkin has something very interesting up about terrorists arrested in Ohio very recently, and they had over 600 cell phones bought at WalMart on them when arrested.

Here's the link to Michelle if you want to read it:

Over 600 cellphones!!!Don't they use those to set off bombs?

It was just said that mothers will have to taste their babies milk prior to bringing it on the plane.

Hi dark! Nice to see you!

I just emailed Fox News' Steve and Brian and asked them what in the world good this precaution about the baby's milk was supposed to do, IF the baby's mum was a suicide bomber who was getting ready to blow up the airplane?! I'm sure she would gladly sample the 'milk' (er, explosive liquid) and fake that it tasted fine and dandy. She wouldn't be worried about drinking an explosive solution when she was going to go KA-Boom very shortly anyhow! :banghead:

Yikes! This topic has me shaking and shuddering.

ETA: Hi Chico! :) What's "Zero Coke" if I may ask?

Hi Liz! I had this same question in my mind and figured if it was explosive whatever they would maybe become immediately sick or something? Maybe not but because of the suicide bomber part it was the only thing I could think of. Thanks for posting this and quit reading my mind!

Wallets and travel documents allowed but laptops etc not allowed for the time being. If you bring things that are not allowed on as hand luggage they go in with your main luggage
Thanks Chickpea.:)

LOL, see my amended post above, I edited to add something about that (London Subway bombings?) and correct myself too. They had 12 phones on them but admitted to buying and reselling over 600 phones to someone else. And they got them at WalMart! But Wal-Mart employees are catching onto this fad of terrorists buying large quantities of phones at one time. The employees are said to be alerting the FBI when this is done and they suspect something.

Chico, re-read my post that you responded to (where I edited it) and I guarantee you will realize I am not reading your mind. ;) It's too late or to early to be reading minds! Hopefully there's always another day!

Diet coke sweetened with a combo of no calorie sweetners. I like it better than diet coke. :)

Well if she drank it and became sick that would be a big red flag that it wasn't milk.....maybe its just too late for me to make sense lol yeah that's the excuse I"m going with!

eta to clarify or muddy with me ya never know! I can't imagine drinking an explosive and not having an immediate reaction...surely it would be a caustic substance to the mouth, esophagus or stomach. Or not.

I should hope she would not only taste it but die immediately if she was bringing an innnocent baby on board to blow up with her! I know, that sounds awful of me to hope someone would die, but the baby and the passengers don't deserve to be blown up, so yeah, I hope she would die.

If she drank it and exploded, that would be a huge red flag! lol! I'm thinking maybe since they've already heard the warning, maybe a good pre-coating of the stomach with maalox or something. Trying to think like a suicide bomber here.

I hadn't even heard of the stuff but sounds like a winner! It's probably not even available in this podunk town. lol!

Quite east to make with a teabag....but to do it proberly you need a good campfire ....place tinpot full of water on campfire with tealeaves....bring to boil...then swing pot in a 3 full round arm swings...then you have fairdikum billy tea:)

I don't think theres' anything you can use to coat your stomach throat or mouth to offset an explosive....thinking about those that die by drinking drain cleaner and such. Dunno. In this day and age I guess its possible.

  • #120
I'm afraid they will find some way to line the bottle to hide the explosives. Kind of like those Magic Baby bottles, the toy ones that look like the doll is drinking the liquid when it is up-ended to "feed" the doll.

I hope I didn't scare anybody with my hateful post above. Maybe I should have said I hoped the terrorist mother would get violently ill immediately to alert authorities about the supposed "milk". That sounds better. :blushing: Sorry, I am better now, it won't happen again.
