The Ballards Lane, North Finchley resident left her job in early February and hasn’t been seen for nearly fourteen weeks.
The last sighting of her was on March 14 at The Blind Beggar pub in Whitechapel.
CCTV footage showed her alone, and she did not buy any drinks.
There is still some mystery about her last job.Fantastic that there is more news coverage of this! Hope that more outlets pick this up.
Some things in there that are new information:
So Portia went missing shortly after leaving her job. Did leaving her job trigger something that knocked her off course and led to her going missing, or was she unwell and that led to her leaving?
I think that is the pub we thought it was. Quite a long time ago now. Does Portia have friends in Whitechapel? Why that pub specifically? Was she hoping to meet someone?
So there is more footage that showed she did not come with someone or actually meet someone there or buy anything. Waiting for someone who didn't show or waiting in the hope that someone specific showed up?
Great that more awareness raising is going on.

Portia is not known to have any friends or contacts around Whitechapel, the visit to the pub is most odd. IMO she looks troubled and unwell in cctv image. She was in the pub alone without a drink and a friend from years ago came in.. Portia recognised him and he was unaware that she had been reported missing. He contacted the police when he saw the media coverage. They had a couple of drinks together and went their seperate ways. The next camera on the street was broken so it was unable to determine where she went to. Underground cameras had already deleted the footage.
Since we know this is often not the case, what makes you assert such in this case?Someone knows something!!!

Yes it was a chance meeting. That is indeed very odd.
Was it a chance meeting?
Hope today went well with the tshirts.
It has already yielded the above news article (posted upthread) which is positive.
Did you visit the Whitechapel area today?
Really really hoping this yields more results for you guys. Jog someone's memory or nudge them into coming forward with information.
Someone knows something!!!
Does anyone know if her passport is still in her flat? - or if not, whether it has been used?
The met police have finally appealed for Portia

Officers are appealing for assistance to help find 33-year-old Portia Vincent-Kirby, who is missing from Finchley.
Portia was last seen on Friday, 21 February at around 20:45hrs in Hyde Park. After leaving her friends, she is believed to have gone to Victoria Station.
She was reported missing to police on Thursday, 13 March.
Officers have been trawling CCTV footage in a bid to trace her movements, with the last confirmed sighting placing her at the Blind Beggar pub in Whitechapel on Friday, 14 March.
Portia’s mum, Janina, said:
“We are all very worried as Portia is very vulnerable. Portia has not been in contact with or seen by any family or friends since February.
“We appeal to the public for anyone to please come forward if they know anything about her or her whereabouts. We also appeal to Portia directly, please get in touch with any of your family or friends.”
PC Harjinder Kang, from the Met’s north west missing persons unit, added:
“We are growing increasingly concerned for Portia’s safety, as this behaviour is out of character for her. We urge anyone who may have seen her to contact police.
“Officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries in an effort to trace her and we are now turning to the public for help. Please get in touch if you can help us locate Portia.”
Portia is slim with blue eyes and shoulder-length dyed blonde hair. Her clothing when she went missing is unknown, however she often wears a baseball cap.
She is also known to have links with the Kent area

Missing woman last seen near Hyde Park three months ago spotted in London pub
She disappeared en route to Victoria Station.metro.co.uk
Her passport has not been used.Does anyone know if her passport is still in her flat? - or if not, whether it has been used?
Just came across this.Portia Vincent-Kirby
Met Police statement:
Was there a party in Hyde Park on 21 February? It would have been pitch dark otherwise at that time. She was thought to be going to Victoria Station (why?)
Portia had done various jobs, including as a PA and and administrator, but was not working when she went missing. She lived alone in a flat in Finchley. Her social media suggests she was very social and liked to organise parties. She ran for election as an MP a few years ago (she wasn't elected but she got quite a bit of news coverage!).
It seems a bit off to me that Portia was missing for a couple of weeks or more before the alarm was raised. She had friends and was very social. Did none of them worry she was not in contact?

Urgent hunt for woman, 33, who was last seen at London's Hyde Park
An urgent hunt has been launched for missing woman Portia Vincent-Kirby, 33, who was last seen at London's Hyde Park a month ago.www.dailymail.co.uk
https://archive.ph/JR8WW - Sun article -- doesn't say much more
It's unclear how Portia knew these people -- the other two individuals who are named as company directors, one is Ukrainian the other one, the woman, might be but her surname isn't typically Ukrainian -- but it's possible that they used her and perhaps paid her to file the company papers with Companies House, then resign. As a front woman so to speak who did the admin. There's nothing I have found to suggest that Portia has links to Ukraine/Russian-speakers. The company is a vehicle for two other people to post their writings about the Russian communist party and other rather odd stuff. Most of it is in Russian, which Portia does not speak. My guess is they perhaps reached out via e.g. her LinkedIn where she posted her phone number (!!) and email and stated she is open to all sorts of work. Is this shady? It could be? Perhaps not. But not advisable.
From her social media you can see Portia has gone missing before, albeit for a shorter time than this disappearance, and has some rather shall we say interesting friends.
E.g. from Portia's social media, she is linked (well, he liked one of her posts which given that she does not have a very large following suggests he perhaps knows her personally) to a known fraudster (known as in actually convicted) who is also involved in the high end party organising lifestyle. I would guess that is how he knows Portia. I don't think I should name him here. Those parties will very likely have lots of drugs and also escorts and its a bit of a wild lifestyle that doesn't lend itself to also holding down a day job. Portia seems to have been getting involved in that lifestyle by doing work advertising parties. She had an internship or something (she is a bit old for that) advertising/marketing parties for one organiser -- it's what her Instagram is all about.
About Portia renting a flat in Finchley -- it's not a cheap area, even though it's not in central London. If she could afford to rent a flat there on her own, she had access to money. London is searingly expensive now even for flatshares.
