UK - Prince Andrew accused of underage sexual relationship, 1999-2002 *settled* #2

I do hope there is evidence, it all sounds kind of fantastical to me.

Why did the American police not go after the father years ago when he first reported it?

Why are the American police going after the others who were ‘present’ at Frogmore?

Do the Americans know that Frogmore was not a private home of a Royal in those days but offices or apartments for the hired help?

Strange place for Prince Andrew to throw a do?

^^^ I meant:

Why are the American police NOT going after the other people who were present?

Why are the American police not going after the many wealthy & influential Americans who have so much more to lose?

Why is the focus of their investigation some ex Prince from a foreign country who has not committed any crime by the laws of his own country?

IIRC all members of the Royal family drive ‘free’ cars.

A long standing tradition.

The minutes, which were seen by journalists including the Press Association, before they were pulled from the file would appear to be unexceptionable.
There is discussion by senior palace and Foreign Office officials about his travel plans as a UK trade envoy - which earned him the nickname "air miles Andy" - with visits to China, Russia, south-east Asia and Spain.
Officials also raised the issue of whether the Football Association would be prepared to pay for him to attend the Euro 2004 tournament in Portugal as a royal representative.
It was noted that a change to the rules for royal travel meant that his visits as a trade envoy would in future be funded by the Royal Travel Office - rather than UK Trade and Industry - which would have to find an additional £90,000.

And the papers also revealed that Downing Street had to issue an apology when John Major was in power, when a birthday telegram he sent to the Queen Mother was apparently addressed in an "improper manner".

The Queen Mother's private secretary called No 10 demanding an explanation as to why the 1994 birthday greeting had been "incorrectly addressed", documents show, although it is not clear exactly what caused the outrage.

This is all really old news.

Queen Mother died in 2002. Long dead.

The birthday in question was over 30 years ago.

Prince Andrew has not been an ‘envoy’ since 2011.

Anti Monarchy sentiment may be running high but why dig up stuff that’s no longer relevant?

Is there anything more current?

The Peppercorn Princes/Princess et al are named in this article.

I think telling the world who lives where in KP is a security breach but that’s just my pov.

Most are cousins of the late Queen but Princess Eugenie and family also live there as well as in Portugal.
