We are concerned for the welfare of a missing 45-year-old woman from the Penrith area.

Rachel Rudd was last seen on Wednesday evening (20 July).

She is described as having shoulder-length brown hair. It is believed she may have travelled to Manchester via train.

A DRINK driver from the Eden Valley has been given a 25-month ban and an alcohol abstinence and monitoring order after she admitted the offence.

"After hearing the details, magistrates imposed a three-day curfew as well as the alcohol abstinence order, which will remain in place until April 18 of next year. The defendant was offered the drink driver rehabilitation course, which if completed in time will reduce the length of the ban."

She sent a text last Wednesday evening saying arrived in Manchester, but hasn't used her phone since 11pm that evening.
