It was a day out for them. LO didn't go. I believe he had dental appointment. Had the house to himself though

I've only ever heard of police guarding cordons overnight. Not a private security firm. Weird indeed.

I read that this is standard procedure?

You can only base things on what you've read.

The 28 hours reporting her missing (all cleared up now of course!), the bizarre blood comment, the no sightings of her leaving the house, the 2 trips back to the family home. You don't need to go back a second time & treat the house as if a crime has been committed if you haven't found anything suspicious, unless of course you haven't examined the full house yet.

Why has it not been said on any article that they tried to report her missing but the police said a certain time has to pass? The way I read it was they waited a full 28 hours to report her missing after she was last seen.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I have mine. Ive followed cases where the parents have looked absolutely devastated before, it means nothing. I do think its someone she knows but I've been wrong before so I could be here. I'm not blaming it entirely on the family, I'm just saying some things are very bizarre. When I say someone she knows, Im not aiming it entirely at the family.

Hopefully more updates today.

Could be the reason for the large number of police vans...... extra manpower drafted in to search and knock on doors ...

Yes I didn't realise that many officers were doing on foot searches. They'd need to be transported in a coupke of vans

While this may be true, something is different this time, IMO. The police and public weren't involved to this extent and millions of hinky meters weren't going bonkers.

Ok so just trying to compose my thoughts and all the things we don't know. These are the questions I'd like answered:

1. Where did Becky stay the night before? What kind of mood was she in? What did she take with her? What time did she leave there to return home?

2. What was Becky "grumpy" about according to AG?

3. The name and time of the last person to see her ( not including family). How did Becky seem?

4. What time Becky was supposed to have had the text exchange with LO and whether any of the wording etc would lead LO to think it was someone other than Becky texting him

5. The whereabouts of AG/DG and LO for both the Thursday and Friday

6. Confirmation of what exactly Becky took with her. Was it jist the phone and laptop as reported in some places or did she also take the tablet?

7. She had recently dyed her hair red and it has been said by dad and friends that she was obsessed with taking selfies. Are there seriously no more up to date photos of her with red hair- even on her friends phones

8. Is her not returning on an evening more common place than we were initially led to believe. Grandfather certainly hints at it? Ois this the reason for delay in reporting her missing?

9. Its been said via family that she was shy due to past family problems. Qhat were these and are they still ongoing?
