Hmm is the use of the word "phones" typo or did she have more than one?

Quick search if moms adress shows she lives relatively close to Becky - approx 2 miles

I think she could mean Courtney and Rebecca playing on the phones as in their phones. Rebecca on hers, Courtney on hers. Or on the computer together. Some people just say it differently :)

Seven days after Becky Watts went missing and there are still no clues to her whereabouts.

Detectives and forensic officers are searching her home in Crown Hill today, but the search of open areas close to her home, including Troopers Hill, appears to have been wound down.

Officers said at this stage the investigation is still being treated as a missing person enquiry.

Last night 200 family and friends gathered to distribute posters and search for Becky who went missing last Thursday morning - the 19th of February.

At an earlier police press conference DI Richard Ocone, who is leading the investigation, spoke directly to Becky: “All we are concerned about is your well being and we just want to make sure you are ok.

“If you can call home or one of your friends or call us on 101, we can help you to work through anything you may be worrying about.

“I would also ask anyone who might know where Becky is to come forward and let us know.

“It’s completely out of character for Becky to leave without telling her family or friends where she’s going – especially if she is not planning on coming home.

Or "phones" could have been used instead of "devices". Especially since Becky has a tablet which acts a lot like a smart phone. I always have both with me and interchangeably use them.

Yes thats also true :)

Her phone has also been switched off since she went missing. Why wouldn't she just leave it behind as she obviously doesn't intend to use it as it hasn't been on since. Unless she didn't want anyone routing through it but I still don't believe she left of her own free will. Phone switched off, no clothes, money, make up, toothbrush. How would a young girl cope without all that if they weren't intending to come home?

I'm sure you can legally disappear at 16 as well. They can't make her come home so why wouldn't she just let someone know she's okay? Nah not buying it, sorry. That would be the better outcome though!

IF, and that's a bif if, she is voluntarily missing, I could see taking the devices with her (even if she wasn't intending on using them) so that data couldn't be retrieved from them. However, I'm inclined to think that a young girl isn't going to be that aware of how to elude LE.

@MamaJoJo: Hmm yeah I understand what you're saying. I still don't think she's voluntarily disappeared though, do you? :(

I would have thought the police would appeal for people to look out for the phone, tablet & laptop as it could have been dropped or dumped somewhere. They did in the Alice gross case when her phone was missing.

I don't. No way would a girl so selfie obsessed leave without her make up/hair brush. Someone has taken her laptop and phone and got rid of them. Luckily for the police (and us!) it would appear they were stupid enough to leave chargers and other essentials. Not a very convincing runaway set up if you ask me.

Unless....... could she have been going to boyfriends to do homework? Do we know anything about what they do, I assume they're still at school?

Cadaver maybe? :( Sniffer dogs are usually used to detect drugs, substances and blood. Doesn't sound good at all though does it.

Maybe they're being hyper vigilant - trying to avoid a Tia Sharpe scenario?

It could be. I still wonder what they found at the nature reserve this morning what they're being tight lipped about.

Was it not the items of clothing and/or bag that was found. Not sure if they were found there but I just kinda assumed. Not beem confirmed whether they were beckys either
