This makes "checking out girls" sound like a joint hobby :

He said: "A couple of time when we've been out somewhere checking out other girls Shauna would laugh - because I'd think a girl looked 17 or 18 but when she turned round it was obvious she was not.

As for the 🤬🤬🤬🤬, it seems to be an obsession, he's 28, maybe he has been an online user for 10 years+ since broadband became available? ie he may have started quite young with magazine.

Matthews said he had been interested in 🤬🤬🤬🤬 "for years", moving from magazines to online.

When asked how often he watched 🤬🤬🤬🤬, he said: "Definitely every week but I would say it could be every day.

"So on average I would say it would be every other day."

Morning All. I was just wondering what questions WS's hope the prosecution ask SH today ? I doubt he will go the route

of allowing " yes/no, I didn't. I wasn't there ..." type answers. Being the first trial I've followed the whole set-up is unfamiliar to

me.

Totally agree with this.

I've always looked at this case with the view that it was a planned sexual attack and both NM and SH are jointly responsible for her death and the cover up afterwards. No other explanation makes sense.
In the very early days, this is what I'd suspected too, a sexual motive but I think that was guided by what little bits we knew then. Do you think that sometimes, for some people it's a first impressions last? and maybe for others they're more open to a change of mind?

Just pondering :)

Judge: Are you deaf?
SH: No
Judge: Are you blind?
SH: No
Judge: Are you stupid?
SH: No
Judge: Guilty as charged.

(I'm just mucking about, still on the fence, let's see what today brings!)

It may mean nothing more than that they were in the habit of observing and commenting on passing women in a casual "people watching" way. I've done this with friends, both male and female. I always find it interesting to see what makes someone attractive, eg a smile, the way they move etc.

I think his aim will be to draw examples out of her, without her being aware he is doing it, where she has stood up to Nathan, or taken the lead.

We won't get to cross-exam until after her barrister has led her through her defence evidence anyway.

I really don't think they are doing this in the way you are - non-sexually.

He said: "Sometimes Shauna would catch me looking and smack me - tell me off for looking.

"She would also point ones out for me as well - kind of jokey, it's the way we were."

What with the text exchanges ( her sending to him she had just spotted a pretty teen ) and the threesomes, I think they have a shared interest that's more sinister. As someone else just posted, I am guessing this crime has sexual motives amongst others.

Taken from UK & Eire FB page

Shortly after court finished yesterday, police released this footage which was shown to the jury of Nathan Matthews’ car being drive to Becky’s home.

The CCTV captured his Vauxhall Zafira travelling towards Becky’s family house in Crown Hill, Bristol, hours before he killed

I would like to share with you all something that made my hairs stand on end last night.

Last weekend I wrote out my entire thoughts about what happened and how it happened from the minute they left home to go to Becky's that fatal morning, to the minute they were arrested. So much happens each day that I forgot some of the small details I wrote as I went along. I thought last night I would have a read through it, because I wanted to write up something to do with how Shauna's defence might go.

I came to the part about them leaving AG/DG's house, with Becky lying dead in their boot. I wrote that they had not had a chance alone yet to discuss what to do about their predicament. On the journey home they were going through the options, 'water? no she'll float, we have to find a way she will never be discovered. bury her? no I can't dig, I'm in too much pain and you can't cos your pregnant'. By the time they arrived home, they had thought of nothing that would work.

And that's when Shauna really let off at Nathan, and the neighbour heard the rowing and slamming doors. How he had to find a way out of this because it was all his fault that the kidnap had gone wrong. And now, if they were caught, her child, and babies who would be born in custody, would be taken away from them and put into care. Anjie and Darren wouldn't be a suitable home for them because their relationship with them would be destroyed after this.

And then I read yesterday that a call was made to Children in Care that evening! I find that quite chilling.

It even suggests a reason they rekindled a relationship with Shauna's Mum. A temporary home for the children until she gets out of prison.

Shauna Hoare searched on YouTube for "Do you want to hide a body?" on the evening after Becky Watts died, a court has heard.

The 21-year-old - who denies murdering the teenager along with her 28-year-old boyfriend, Nathan Matthews - told detectives that she was looking on the internet for a spoof video based on the hit Disney film Frozen and the song "Do you want to build a snowman?"

"I don't recall why Nathan was in a bit of a mood and when I showed it before it did make him laugh, so I thought if I got it up and make him laugh he wouldn't be so p***y," Hoare told the officers.

"It was obviously before I knew anything had happened to Becky as it would be very insensitive."

This is way to much of a coincidence.

SH says NM was "in a bit of a mood" so to cheer him up she showed him this Frozen parody.

NM would have been "in a bit of a mood" because that was the exact predicament they found themselves in that night. They had to hide Becky's body. It seems more like sick humor. There is no innocent explanation for SH to have searched for this video when Becky's body was in their house at the time, IMO.

you just beat me to it ........... my comment on this is that it is clearly raining at this time, and it can surely only be a few minutes drive from CML to Becky's home in Crown Hill ........

It appears to be raining quite heavily too, I wouldn't fancy standing outside for five minutes never mind 15-20 especially with a toddler.
