Foster parent's aren't normally neglectful though.

They're not always what you would expect though either - not all but some do see it as a way of making money.

Not a huge deal in the scheme of things but I find it odd that SH was given some of BW clothes. I used to get hand me downs from older cousins etc. but I've never got clothes from people that were younger than me.

I feel like SH is saying this to show what a hard life she had and how "spoilt" BW was.

No, but didnt she go between six different sets of foster carers? I wonder who she formed long term bonds with? Was it a foster carer or was it a birth parent as she went back to them eventually?

Shauna texting or pointing out pretty girls could well be a way of getting on Nathan's good side - I used to say things to my ex if I knew he was in a dangerous mood that I knew would sway his mood.

She was doing it when he wasn't even there via text and both seem in a happy enough mood, with LOLs etc. Also the most recent threesome they had was 2014 and it wasn't their first, I can see why she's playing down her sexual interest in girls but painting her as not interested at all but willing to do it to please NM, doesn't really help her case much.

I agree with you on that. Maybe I don't mean so much 'bond' but more who on a parental front was she most influenced by - her foster carers or her birth parents? Who would she have learnt what is 'normal' behaviour in a relationship from?

perhaps it's a way or trying to diminish any sense of motive on SH's part?
ie. BW & SH had a good reln. - intimate stuff, hair, clothes share, ordering meals behind NM's back....

I'd say none, she's been passed around so much in her formative years that I doubt she would've been greatly influenced by any.

Hmmm, just thinking, I had had a few items of clothing off my sister in law who is about 10 years younger than me. She's early 20s, I'm early 30s. We have a similar boho kind of style and there's been times when she's been getting rid of stuff and asked if I would like it as our tastes are similar.

I'd say none, she's been passed around so much in her formative years that I doubt she would've been greatly influenced by any.

it suggests to me that she wouldn't settle with her placements, that she was problematic, unless it is normal to be passed from one to another so many times
