Just because it is a possibility that she may have woken up the night the body was being moved, doesn't mean she did. At that point Nathan didn't have much other choice but to risk her hearing them 'sneaking about'. He'd already done so much, why is is hard to believe he would risk waking up SH in the middle of the night? People seem to be getting mired in the idea of that what COULD have happened absolutely, irrefutably DID happen.

I never said it did mean she woke that night. I was just explaining the risk he was taking by bringing the men into the house as there was no guarantee she would stay asleep. However if she knew they were coming there's no risk at all.

I find it very strange. It suggests to me that the child wasn't with her, and she can't cope with holding too many lies going on together in case she gets caught out. I wonder if she was still strapped in the car, and they brought her in when they decided to stay and tell everyone Becky had gone out.

But what about SHs statement, where she said her child was asking to go outside with her when she SH went for a smoke

I don't think I've seen that interview. I know NM said she did, but then he said something strange like 'that wasn't true'

Yes I agree, this is the guy who risked kidnapping his Step Sister and putting her in Car boot while his Girlfriend popped outside for a cigarette!!! I also think (IF THE TRUTH HAS BEEN TOLD) that he would be of the opinion IF SH did see anything he'd be able to talk her round whatever so wasn't too worried! MOO

The next day the couple went back over to Becky’s family home.
Hoare said: “There came a time when Nathan said he had to go and help a friend and grabbed his stuff and left.”
The jury heard that Matthews went alone to B&Q and bought an £80 circular saw which he took back to the couple’s home to dismember Becky’s body.
Hoare said Anjie was worried about Becky still being missing.
She later noticed Matthews had a scratch on his wrist but she did not ask him about it.
Then Hoare put a message out on Facebook about Becky being missing, the jury heard.

This IS an interesting discrepancy, but I don't see why she would lie about it. Could she just have omitted this bit? I guess it's not out of the question that she may have asked Anjie as Becky may have contacted her in the meantime via text etc. Again, it is something I might flippantly do if I wasn't really paying attention in the first place. She had no reason at that stage (if we're to believe her story) to take much notice of Becky leaving the house, so she may have absent-mindedly asked Anjie. I'm babbling a bit here but hopefully you catch my drift.

I think if you believe SH is innocent you have to believe he risked both and was able to pull both off, but if she's involved he doesn't have to risk either.

That wasn't solely directed at you, ColourPurple ... I think though that desperate as NM was at that point, it probably would've been a risk he was compelled to take.

The jury heard Hoare then made an internet search on a site called: “Do You Want To Hide A Body”.
She said: “Nathan wasn’t in the best of moods and I knew it made him laugh.
“I don’t think I even showed it him, I just played it for a couple of seconds.”

A bad night with nightmares?

So he really couldn't rely on her sleeping through him moving all the stuff out of the house. Deep sleeper or not she coudlve woken up with a nightmare

On the UK and Eire FB page, the comment reads that SH said

she often had nightmares


so perhaps if she had woken up when NM and KD were taking packages down from the loft, NM would have told her it was just another nightmare !
