I think we are seeing a personality defect with SH. She can't feel for others, she can't even feel for herself. It is quite sad, I'm not sure if it is her upbringing that has caused that. She has shut down to all feelings.

(She's still evil though in my book.)

Imagine if she suddenly entered a new plea at this stage to any of the charges ...

Wonder if there's a discussion going on, Judges Chambers with Barristers ?

I bet she's come over poorly!!

One find utterly bizarre is that not once (that I've seen) has SH said 'poor Becky' or shown any sadness that she is gone.

I'm glad I'm not on the jury. I just don't know what to think.

The old nurture or nature debate. And yes I'm definitely picking up that feeling... that she can't empathise, though she does cry for herself.

From UK & Eire

40 minutes since adjournment and still no Shauna

Probably a queue for the Ladies . Oh of course she hardly ever needs to go.

Still waiting for Shauna - Public gallery members of Beckys family are chatting among themselves - Prosecutor is pacing up and down

Get the feeling something is going on

Not all the jury members are seated yet - Two are not sat down yet, but court has not yet resumed anyway

I saw they're discussing that possibilityon Uk and Eire, I think it depends how confident she is that she'll be found not guilty. I can't see her doing that unless she thinks there's zero chance of being found innocent of everything.

Hmmm, why such a long break so early? Pleeeeease let SH come out and change her plea to guilty!

  • #695
Oh well, not a discussion with Prosecution Barrister anyway, he is already back in court...

could be SH with her Barrister - change of plea maybe as has been suggested on here ? we can but hope

Maybe the judge is asking the defence "are you really sure you have finished grilling her, because I can think of a few questions that need asking".

As much as I've doubted her guilty up to now, I do wonder if this is what is about to happen.
