What I have been able to establish is that there was blood on Becky's onesie.

We know that Becky's onesie was removed by NM or SH before she was dismembered, so it is unlikely that the blood got there during the dismembering, unless it was just spatter.

It was reported that there was blood on the straps of her onesie. I thought this strange, to hear the onesie had straps, and that it was short legged, so I tried to find an image of a George (Asda) leopard print onesie to fit this description. I found something that I wouldn't describe as a onesie, but more of an all in one type of nightwear, or lingerie, like a teddy.

I think what they were suggesting is that the neck wounds (screwdriver) bled more than the abdominal knife wounds, but that they couldn't say with certainty when she bled. One possible explanation for this could be that the stabbing in the neck occurred around the time of death, when there was no or little blood circulation. I don't think they were willing to speculate or draw a definite conclusion either way.

BIB If that's true, then either the wounds happened at CH or she died at a later time. I did wonder when NM's defence said this, if he was going to suggest that it wasn't actually NM who killed Becky but that doesn't seem to be what he meant.

I can't work out where he was going with it for the life of me. Yes if it was the prosecutor, but not NM's team.

When you reply to a post, whether from your phone or your computer, in the status bar (where you can bold something or change the font size) you will see a little smiley face. Click on it. At first you will see a box open up with six or so emojis. Click "more" and a few hundred others will pop up in a box. There are some pretty funny ones available.

Yes he did I'll try and find link I posted before but PO stated he had to open clingfilm to see the contents

Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk

No need to go hunting sar2them - PC had to open it to identify - that's good enough for me.

So even if any of them looked (which I guess one might have ) in a bag ( without piercing the inner packaging) they would not have been able to determine it's contents at all, nor could a copper.

ETA - Cross post - Clio has provided statement. ( I'm behind you posters)

There still are a whole host of questions raised by the the Police. SOCO. Post Mortem. That have not (as far as has been reported) answered.
I know that the Court and Jury would of had and heard evidence that can't be divulged out of Court. But I do hope that once the sentences have been passed down. That there is more closure on the case.
Because at the moment it seems very disjointed. And these two. NM & SH. Really need to recieve punishment to fit the crime.
They played a game. From the get go. And still are in their warped vision of reality.
AG in my eyes had not only lost a 'daughter' (albeit a step daughter) but a son also now. And a grand baby. ( I'm assuming NM & SH'S child will either be with extended family or fostered)
So I do really hope. That NM & SH. Think long and hard whilst coming down to reality with a bump. At ALL the lives their sick perverted grotesque games, ruined that day.
Sorry rant over. ..... All moo. Of course.

I think NM and SHs barristers will take about an hour each - would expect JI and DDs to be shorter, so they could do it all, if they extend the court a bit beyond the usual 12 midday closure.
Otherwise, they could do JI and DD on Monday first thing, before Judge begins to sum up.

IMO they all knew it could be a body just before the police came, I do think, in the early stages, they thought it was something like coke or heroin, but could that be "squidgy" really ?IDK, it's all gruesome.
Am surprised they didn't look in the bags, but equally it could have been so well packaged it was impossible to see ( I can't recollect exactly what the policeman observed about the first find, whether he had to open it in order to tell.)

"Squidgy" to me just means squashy as opposed to hard or angular, like a box.
