AL:says expert agreed the DNA in this case was not proof that SH touched any of the three items

This was SH's immediate defence when being questioned by police wasn't it? None of my dna will be there !

I do hope Circumstantial Evidence is fully explained to the jury by the judge

SNAP Edinlass !

^^^^ I can't accept he wears makeup. What a lot of crap, honestly, just NO. SH wears makeup, yes, they are pretty much 1 person though so this logic makes sense.

Either the concealer for his dark circles wasn't much good or forgot to wear it the day of the police, as police described NM as looking pale with dark circles under his eyes.

Detective Constables Lisa Aruthen and Simon Wallis went to the property in Bristol on the morning of February 24 as part of their inquiries into the disappearance of the 16-year-old.
Ms Aruthen said Matthews – who admits killing Becky, dismembering her body in his bath and then moving the remains to a friend's shed – answered the door and said he looked pale and had dark circles around his eyes.

Defence says make-up on the mask could have been Nathan's - he wore some under his eyes to cover his bags - it was never tested.

^^ just wondering why they wouldn't test it to see whos it was. Does anyone else feel a lot of this case has just been based on 'nah, it's too much of a coincidence for SH not to know, text messages to eachother, a video paradoy of frozen, bingo- it was a joint crime' rather than getting the actual evidence to prove it. They are relying heavily on the jury to decide if all this was a coincidence on SH behalf or not IMO, there's nothing else to go on let's be honest. I think she is guilty of some or most of the crime but the evidence isn't there, it is actually heartbreaking!

I also wonder if the loft was even properly tested........

Yup, and the first thing she said in her interview was you won't find my DNA on anything....I mean what innocent person who hasn't thought all this through says that.

Ok this becoming silly now.

And thats the interview after NM had confessed, because the day before that she gave a statement saying she was going to be saying no comment to all questions. As soon as he confesses, and she realises she needs to put the blame solely on him, she starts helping police with little bits of info, like the lift home and him not coming in straight back in, that she wasn't going to mention at all before!

LOL that made me laugh - ain't life a b*tch. The one day you don't get fully made up and what happens - you end up doin an interview !

I agree, a bit odd not to test. And I have always had my doubts about in how much detail the loft was searched.

Ye she eventually told the truth about the messages, when she realised/was told that nobody would believe that somebody else had used her phone and her writing style to text her boyfriend!

Yes, but only when faced with the incontravertible (cant spell) forensic evidence

I think it was interesting during SH's interview that her ears only pricked up when they said the body had been found at her house.

She must have thought WHAT? did he leave it behind? did he move something else to the shed?

And then she coyly asks because she's curious to know, without wanting to seem surprised, where in her house he had hidden her.

I doubt she knows the meaning of the truth, just like she doesn't seem to think that buying rolls & rolls of clingfilm on a random shopping trip isn't a pretty strange purchase. Oh, or the smell of bleach in a house that had probably never seen a bottle of bleach since they had moved themselves & there huge amounts of garbage in...JMO
