THE man who murdered his stepsister Becky Watts has been moved to a new jail where he has befriended another killer who chopped up women.
Nathan Matthews is now in Long Lartin’s vulnerable persons unit next to Crossbow Cannibal, Stephen Griffiths.

Griffiths, 45, was caged for life after slaughtering three women.

Matthews, jailed for 33 years, strangled Becky, 16, and cut up her body.

A source said: “They have struck up a bizarre friendship and are often seen chatting. Both exercise and have the same association — that’s time to mingle with other inmates. It is enough to make you shiver when you see them together.”

Matthews, 28, was moved from Bristol jail to Long Lartin, Worcs.

EVIL Nathan Matthews watched a killer chop up a girl on CSI and said: “That’s how I would commit murder.”

The monster, 28, who sawed up his step-sister Becky Watts, 16, made the boast to a family member of girlfriend Shauna Hoare in 2011.

Her mum Lisa Donovan, 44, exclusively told The Sun on Sunday: “My son said they were watching CSI once and there was a bloke who murdered a teenage girl.

He chopped her up.

Nathan turned round and said, ‘If I was ever going to commit a murder that’s how I’d do it’.

“It was taken as just a joke. But with everything that’s happened it’s unbelievable.

“My son reported it to police after Nathan was arrested.”

Mum-of-eight Lisa vowed to disown Hoare. She said: “It is the only way I can cope. I will act like she is dead.

“He is just a sick b******. I want to kill him. But Shauna is as thick as him.”

I don't think it's fair to blame SH's mother, we don't know her history, but I bet anything it was similar or worse than SH's, where does the cycle of bad parenting begin, well before LD. SH's siblings had the same background but they haven't made the news.

IMO, both NM and SH have a kink in their nature, and their neglectful childhood experiences switch on those extreme negative traits (eg: lack of compassion and empathy, sadism) with catastrophic consequences for those they set their sites on. The chances of such a union are extremely rare, fortunately.

My post was critical of SH's mother for selling the story of what her daughter was involved in. She hadn't, for whatever reason, provided a decent or stable home for SH, and SH went into care and began the cycle of being passed on from one set of foster parents to another and another and another, whilst her mother continued to have more children, with more partners. Yet, despite this, she used her daughter for personal gain.

Yes I am critical of the way she parented SH, but my main problem with her, is that she went to the press (presumably for money) to talk about the murder of a child, and to presumably make money off that murder.

The case is over, Becky's family have retreated from the public arena, and this woman should respect that - not sell a story based on a comment from years ago. A non-story really. I'm sure the last thing Becky's family want, or need, is for SH and NM to be having any more publicity. And to sell it to The Sun, well I think that says it all. Its a disgusting rag at the best of times.

But last night a source revealed: “Matthews said the prison isn’t as bad as he thought.

“The food is OK and there’s a TV in his cell and another on the wing where prisoners associate with each other and they can play table tennis and pool.”

Matthews, 28, is now focusing on trying to make his minimum sentence of 33 years even more comfortable by getting the games console.

The source added: “He wants to get enhanced prisoner status by keeping his nose clean and behaving, and then he will be able to get a games console.’’

Lags pay £1 a week for the privilege, and the money is taken from inmates’ bank accounts held at the prison in Worcestershire.

It comes from deposits by relatives and friends and wages lags are paid for doing jobs in jail.

Sickos sending fan mail to sex killer say they want to BED her

A source said since she had been caged she had received a raft of 'fan’ mail.

"It shouldn’t come as a surprise really because as soon as someone commits a notorious act then the letters start coming," they said.

"They are from people asking what it felt like to be involved in such a terrible crime and others are from people saying they fancy her – both men and women."

TWISTED killers team up in jail: Becky Watts' killer and Mairead Philpott

Shauna Hoare, jailed for 17 years for the manslaughter of schoolgirl Becky, is serving her sentence at Bronzefield prison, near Ashford, Surrey.

And she is being shown the ropes by evil Philpott, who was caged over a blaze that killed six children.

They are spending a lot of time together during prison association, when prisoners mingle freely

And Philpott has been showing Hoare, 21, how to buy treats and snacks from the prison shop, which is run on a computerised system.

A source revealed: “It is not surprising that they have been drawn to each other.

“That is the law of the jungle in prison – the killers stick together, so do the druggies etc. Philpott is quite an old hand now and she can look after herself.

The couple convicted of killing Becky Watts say they will appeal against their convictions and sentences.
Becky's step-brother, Nathan Matthews, 28, was convicted of her murder and his girlfriend Shauna Hoare was convicted of manslaughter. They were each jailed.
Both have applied for leave to appeal.

"It's absolutely sickening" Becky's father Darren Galsworthy

The couple have both lodged appeals with Bristol Crown Court, the final decision will be made by the Court of Appeal.

A spokeswoman for Bristol Crown Court said: "We have received a request from both Shauna Hoare and Nathan Matthews.

"This request is for us to send their directions their to the Court of Appeal.

"Nathan Matthews request came in today and Shauna Hoare's request came in on December 1."

The Court of Appeal confirmed it has already received Hore's application.

The killers had 28 days from the conviction date to appeal with Matthews missing the deadline.

The Royal Courts of Justice will decide whether there are suitable grounds for him to appeal or not.
