Can someone remind me how long JI and DD actually served in jail? I'm thinking JI did about 7 or 8 months on remand before being aquitted but DD was never inside, is that right?

And what about JP and KD, have either of them been held on remand? I have a feeling KD is on remand because I'm sure they delayed this case until now is so that they weren't both banged up at the same time. Will JP get sent down today?!

I'm trying to work out in my head what would be a "fair" sentence for them.

I think Donovan was inside initially but was released on bail in August at the same time as Jaydene.

So they both did a few months. Karl, I believe has been behind bars since March. Would be ok with seeing him released today but not sure about Jaydene. Weren't there rumours she was pregnant again?

Think she was due to give birth around the time of the big trial - according to comments her brother made.

Yes. KD has been on remand for almost a year now .......... I think the reason the sentencing was delayed was due to JPs pregnancy ( alleged ) and I remember the judge saying something about a child shouldnt have 2 parents behind bars, or one parent should be there to look after a child, something like that.

So my guess is JP will get a custodial sentence and KD will get a sentence which matches the time he has already been on remand, so he can be allowed out to take care of the children.

One of the tweets ( I will find it ) said JP has a suitcase with her, so she is prepared.

My thoughts exactly, Alyce. And I think that would be only right and fair. Jaydene should serve as much time (if not more) as James Ireland in my opinion. She might get a suspended sentence though if she's a new mum.

A bit more reporting from this morning's hearing.

It looks as though it is a different judge hearing this part of the case.


Timothy Rose, defending Karl Demetrius, said his lightly convicted client was remorseful for his involvement, had apologized and would have to move away from Bristol.

Anna Vigars, defending Parsons, said her remorseful client was similarly apologetic and was now a mum-of two who has moved away from Bristol.

Parsons and Demetrius will be sentenced by Judge Neil Ford QC, the Recorder of Bristol, at Bristol Crown Court at 9.45 tomorrow
