Don't forget he phoned up his mother to make sure his intended kidnap victim would be there when he turned up!

I wonder if he made up the kidnap story, thinking it would make people think he was a good son, just looking out for his poor old mum, against this apparently selfish, greedy and nasty teenager? Would he think that he'd get credit for trying to get Becky to treat his mum better?

I don't believe a word of it, just trying to work out why such a bizarre story would be used, when it clearly doesn't add up.

Could be he just made up the reason for the kidnap. The change in parking habits where he reversed onto the drive does make it look like he was planning to put something/one in the boot without being seen.

NM Says had no reason to go upstairs, only goes up if someone calls for BW or his mum asks to check etc.Pretty sure he didn't go upstairs.
