Yes council/HA are pretty clear about what repairs they are responsible for and those that the tenant are.Minor repair to furnishings etc such as replacing a curtain rail would fall to the tenant and changing a washer on a tap etc however things like blocked/leaking toilets and taps are the HA responsibility. All repairs are categorised and have to be completed within certain timescales. Emergency is around 12 hours. High priority 24 hours and so on with minor repairs needing to be completed within 4 weeks something like thatSent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk

Do HA/council rentals tend not to be provided with curtain rails? Just wondering why they wouldn't repair them? Privately a landlord is responsible for repairing any fixtures and fittings provided with the property.

I believe this is quite common advice as a suspect is under no obligation to prove a case against themselves.

Common if they've got something to hide.

Excellent find. So he's gone from 12-4 but at 2.18 SH texts about the memory cards arriving. Strange. I hope Beckys dad and step other can remember the times, or CCTV's available.

Also if hes finished his shopping at 12.51 theres a missing 3 hours till he returns at 4. That would be the ideal time to use the saw yet going by his story Becky's body is just left in the bag in his house till later that night when he moves it to the bath. Also he hasn't bought all the rubble bags and cling film "packaging" at that point. I hope they can track his phone from 1pm to 3pm that day.

I wonder if BW was in fact still in the boot of the car and maybe he was driving about trying to find somewhere he could dump her body?

Why would she assume it should sound like he was cutting metal? Toilet pipes are all plastic, aren't they? Did she not get suspicious when he didn't come out of the bathroom with the bits of pipe he apparently had replaced?

What I find interesting, NM wanted to scare Becky, to make her more appreciative about life. She'd left things on the floor which could cause his mother to fall. Understandably, that would need to be brought to Becky's attention if it were the case.
It's a pity he didn't seem to care his house was a dump site where his own daughter could trip and fall, seriously hurting herself or worse. Major hypocrite!

So from the video, after kidnapping Becky he was going to tell her that if she didn't change

"this could happen again or worse"

Admitting that even in his story he was prepared to do worse than kidnapping her.
