He is a total coward. Adults do not plan kidnaps to shock teenagers into behaving - that is insane. As if she wouldn't recognise him! He's got a distinctive voice, is quite short and er... she knew him 13 years, no? OK, we get that BW would leave her stuff all over the house - v annoying but it's not actually his business. It's for AG & DG to sort out. Look at the state of his own house!

Watching his interview, where he can't even look up to look the person he's speaking to in the eye, and seems to be making the kidnap plan up as he goes along... I can't shake the feeling that maybe he's covering for SH and that she could even be the one who killed Becky. The car parking with the boot by the house suggests it was a pre planned kidnap, but all this about what he was going to do afterwards and fidning a random wooded area, sounds made up. I wonder if the plan was like their texts... to take the kidnap victim to their attic. I'm confused!

#BeckyWatts trial: SH tells police about more violence from NM including a time he allegedly got his hands around her throat

Am still catching up today but it seems like SH has gone from her first interview doing the 'Becky's a ***** and poor Nathans been stressed worrying about his Mum' etc to Nathan is a violent #####? Did the Police ask her if NM was ever violent to her to get this response or is she just saying all this and doing a 'poor me' routine?

Perhaps but if you are advised by a solicitor to give a no comment interview, what do you do? I'm not saying that this was the case here mind but all you can do is follow the advice of the experts.

Back to the 3 day repair of the toilet, didn't SH consider this a strange thing to do when the rest of his family were out searching for his missing step-sister, making appeals and sharing info on Facebook?

I mean, what's the biggest priority - being there for your mum who considers Becky like a daughter (bearing in mind they are supposed to be her carers) or spending 3 days fixing a toilet that is someone else's responsibility?

The only reason you wouldn't bother looking is because you knew exactly where she was. Even if he hated her, it would be the normal thing to do, to search. Otherwise you make yourself look suspicious. Why didn't SH ask herself why NM wasn't helping with the search? And as Anjie's carer, she didn't seem to do much to support her at that time (unless we just aren't hearing that).

Can anyone who is considering SH could be completely uninvolved, think of a reason , if innocent, why SH would not tell her mother and step father that Becky was missing when she visited them?

I can't imagine not mentioning it , in fact I'm sure it'd be one of the first things I'd be telling them

I would most defnitely mention it. It would be at the forefront of my mind, even if I didn't believe that something bad had happened to her, I would will more than likely mention it. I suppose it's very difficult for the jury to judge by what a defendant didn't do though.

So from the video, after kidnapping Becky he was going to tell her that if she didn't change

"this could happen again or worse"

Admitting that even in his story he was prepared to do worse than kidnapping her.

If he wanted to teach her a lesson, to simply scare her and not harm her... why does he bring a stun gun in his rape/kidnap kit?

Why does he bring a suitcase to stuff her alive in, with her mouth taped? In a suitcase which is to be placed in boot of a car...surely, he is clever enough to understand that this particular kidnap plan could cause her death?

But if SH and NM had talked about kidnapping teenage girls, or knocking out a girl to bring home - then why is SH now sooo surprised by NMs kidnap idea ?
