'Personally' If I was innocent or even knew a little but had not had any part in it I would want to tell the Police every little thing I knew In order to help them and prove my innocence....Having said that I am possibly naiive and should take legal advice, but I'd still be wanting to help. I haven't seen any kind of embarrassment/remorse or anything that shows SH is indeed completely innocent on ALL charges. At this point I don't think she took part in the Murder but can't believe she didn't know anything or help in the aftermath. Too many coincidences say she knows more!
IN MY HUMBLE OPINION
Would love to know if the issue with their toilet was mentioned to DG & AG??

Ive mentioned since that post that I'm talking generally about 'no comment' interviews. I agree, in relation to a missing family member...or a missing anyone, the priority would be to get them home, surely?!

Not only did SH in theory not mention it but LD "found out" that NM/SH knew Becky and "joked" that they had kidnapped her! What a weird comment to make.

I thought this was very odd. I mean if you found out a loved one knew someone who was missing and the police were searching for them, you would surely assume that they were worried about their whereabouts. It definitely isn't a joking matter!

I'm wondering where anyone of them slept. Or ate or bathed or did anything....

Bathroom view from other side - looks like carpet to me with a carpet runner, or whatever they call those things, fixed to hold down the landing and bathroom carpets

I wonder if she was half joking and half thinking "Hmmn I haven't seen SH for years then she turns up out of the blue and doesnt mention that her BFs sister is missing and that they were the only other people in the house when she went missing..."

Is that a cupboard facing in the pic. or is that the spare bedroom?

Just wondering where their daughter slept.

I wonder where she slept too? In a travel cot in their bedroom?

The pic was taken in the bathroom facing out, the door opening to the right. The room at the end of landing, a spare room?

Aha, we can see a wire clipped to the bathroom door frame on the left . Is it some kind of extension lead?

I thought it was a cupboard, but looking closer, that looks very much like a door frame, so that could be their bedroom.
The first door on the right of this pic is the bathroom door, which opens out on to the landing ( presumably bcos the bathroom is small ) and behind that door, but not visible on this pic, is the door to a bedroom, which is full of junk ( I will try and find the pic from the web )
So that second door on the right of this pic must be some kind of storage or airing cupboard, as the property is definately only two bedrooms.

This is the room to the right of the bathroom, which was hidden in the previous pic I posted - clearly meant to be a bedroom but perhaps this was just another junk room and they used the other bedroom further down the landing

Why would she assume it should sound like he was cutting metal? Toilet pipes are all plastic, aren't they? Did she not get suspicious when he didn't come out of the bathroom with the bits of pipe he apparently had replaced?
New builds are plastic push fit pipes as opposed to the older houses where they were metal or even ceramic

Thanks Alyce. I have never seen that pic before.

He was thinking of a "wooded area" ? Bit vague, surely in this well planned kidnap he'd have an exact place in mind that he could name?
Well there's plenty of places in and around Bristol - Ashton court for one

I agree. Which, again, makes me wonder if it really did happen in that bathroom. It suits SH for it to have been done in there with the door locked for 3 days. Any other room and it would be very hard to come up with a reasonable explanation as to why she was kept out of a room for that long, or how she could have avoided seeing anything.

I can't shake the feeling that NM is telling a story which is deliberately full of lies - that he knows they can prove can't have happened that way. I can't explain what I mean very well - but he has admitted to killing Becky, but everything he describes isn't actually what happened. None of it makes sense - the kidnap story, SH not seeing a thing, telling the police he dismembered Becky in a room that he knows has no evidence in it whatsoever.

I think he is giving them such a bizarre story to completely cover up what really happened and perhaps where it really happened ..... but I don't know why. Could what happened be even worse than what we know? To protect SH? But would a violent, bullying, controlling partner, who has displayed that sort of behaviour for so many years, suddenly find his conscience and immediately revert to being totally protective and do all he can to protect the person he previously controlled.

I don't know very much about domestic abuse and that type of control, but I've read a lot of cases where the man doesn't change the behaviour, despite court rulings and even prison, and continues the abuse and the behaviour. NM seems to have 'reformed' immediately.

In that interview she told police that, on February 20, she and Matthews went to Crown Hill intending to wash up, vacuum and take the dog for a walk.

Where was the dog on February 19 ??

I know they had a dog because she mentioned it on her fb but I've never heard mention of a dog at theirs or DG house.

Not that I suppose it matters in the grand scheme of things, but would you be able to get to the pipe behind the toilet in that house with such a circular saw.
I'm a diy female and if I had to do it myself (prefer my friendly plumber) I would use a hand saw for ease of access.

Could he have actually replaced part of the toilet to remove evidence? Like if he had flushed blood and other items away, or if he really had caused a blockage.

So if NM did dismember the body in the bathroom and no dna of Becky's found including on the junk in there. This would mean NM cleared the whole bathroom out. Wouldn't SH think that strange? Hmmm, unless he said there was leakage?

Grrrrrr why is he hiding his face....

Little, crying little girl. Has a girls voice aswell...
Really? Sounds like a typical Bristolian bloke to me ...
