So much speculation here about the way SH is wording things. She has her own mind, I think debating about her choice of words (unless you have some sort of specific psychological profiling training etc) is kind of pointless.

Its getting to the point where I can't read the comment thread on FB. People are SO EAGER to believe that SH is guilty. To the point of reading it being uncomfortable. They seem to be getting some sick thrill out of pulling the girl to pieces, without even the slightest consideration she could be innocent. It's like a public execution.

Yes, I'd been thinking the same re FB. I must admit, much as I love following these cases I am not sure it is right that we get SO much info and opportunity to 'slate' people before they have been convicted. Sadly the mob rule seem to think it's 'Guilty until proven Innocent'. Scary world we live in, though much worse in some countries.
Can't help thinking myself that SH would have been better making some small admissions. I am at the verge of finding her Not Guilty but in one or two places she gives answers that don't quite ring true.
I am hoping the Defense will make sense of the odd bits still in question. MOO

Feel like we're losing a lot in translation today i.e. not hearing what police said in order for SH to give the answers she is. Presumably this is a new bag, or one of the ones found in shed and it's just the DNA being found which is new?

This morning the jury was read transcripts of police interviews with Shauna Hoare. Now they are watching some of the video footage.

I was pretty sure the masks were bought on the 20th along with the saw and so how on earth would SHs DNA be anywhere near it if she wasn't involved.

Why are the prosecution not stating this, maybe they are but we aren't getting these bits of info over. The way the information has been presented is not the best IMO, it's everywhere, in no particular order.

Edit: My mistake the police did state that the masks were bought on 20/02/15 and wanted to therefore know why her DNA was found on them. She has an answer for everything I'll give her that.

From the video, it appears Shauna Hoare was crying when police questioned her about Becky's death. She wipes her eyes with her hands.

Except she said that he didn't let her go anywhere without him???

And he controlled everything she did - she had to ask for even a £1 if she wanted it, he wouldn't let her get a pie as she was on a diet ............... yet he let her smoke whilst pregnant with twins, even though he didn't agree with her smoking? Its contradictions like this that stop me believing what she says.

She must have thought her makeup might have gotten on one of the old masks she wore when they painted the house together, or one of the new masks wound up in her makeup case before the plumbing probs began...a reasonable explanation...for dozens & dozens & dozens of things

Yea, these are "ridiculous," rather than "reasonable" explanations...the heap of them

Those alleged offences don't relate to Becky so I think they will be handled separately

I was wondering whether we would hear SH state that Nathan was forcing SH to perform sexual acts that she was uncomfortable with...but since they didn't engage in sexual relations much, often, well then...not much to hear about along those lines

Must be that Nathan's control issues concerning Shauna are not in the sexual area...ALL other areas, but not that one!
