Search group taking place Thursday 1st April meeting at Latimer Road station at 5pm.
Left his home address at approx 8:30pm 22/3 to visit a friend and phone switched off at 10pm the same day. He doesn't have essential medication on his person or money.
Why would you lock your room living in your parents house? Even having a lock on your room in your parents house is a bit OTT. It's not like living in a house share with people you may not know so well.
It just seems a bit odd to me.....
IMO.
Not sure if you’re talking about Oxford street in London here? That’s a possibility if he has links to what they’re referring to as ‘Westminster’, but in case of confusion, nothing to do with the City of Oxford where he was enrolled at university.I read that he has links in Westminster - does anyone have any more specific info than that?
Also the Oxford link. If he did get off the 23 at Marble Arch, he could have got on the Oxford Tube from the same place, just by crossing the road.

This is so worrying. He left his home and took a bus, ending up in the W2 area somehow. Paddington is W2, which is where the overground station is for Oxford city. I wonder if he considered taking a train to Oxford for some reason. Then for whatever reason decided against it, or couldnt, so had to rethink.NEW POLICE UPDATE

W2 is approx 30 miles from Loughton. 30 miles by taxi is apart from anything else v costly. I hope the driver might have some insight from any conversation. The mention of Epping Forest makes my heart sink.
Be safe Richard, where are you?
All JMO
Thats the glimmer of hope for me, about the drop off point I mean.It is a concern. The money side intrigues me a bit - PS5 and taxi ride whilst being 19 and having been shielding. Although of course he could just be careful with birthday money/allowances or student finance.
Why walk along Smart’s Lane? I don’t know the area but a look at the map and it isn’t such an obvious route. Maybe looks different from me the ground eg signage.
Why get dropped off by the taxi and then walk? Why not get dropped off at the destination?
That is really worrying update. To go to woods ring alarm bells, to travel outside London and to go there at midnight... I really feel for his mum, she must be beyond herself.
Epping Forest has quite a bad reputation. Lots of bodies also of murder victims recovered there over the years. Though it might be nice during the day there.
Fearing the worst at this moment.
