I hope the people that have protected JW all these years are squirming.
Because there is no way a 13yr old can do what he did, without others knowing. It's impossible. Especially on such an insular place as the Welland. And 13yr olds *cannot* keep secrets, they just can't.
I hope those adults are proud of themselves.
I totally agree he wasn't alone or others knew

Why are the times on here different to what we have heard?

likely left his home between 9 and 9.30 am? But Ruth claimed she was on the settee so surely she knows what time he went to school? obviously not on time according to that although ive always read earlier times but...to be honest the headmistress said he was late to school a lot so would make sense. I imagine its hard for a six years old to get himself up dressed and breakfast on time with no help :(

I think I will pass at the documentary...I get too mad watching her tbh..would been better had it been the daughters In my opinion. Ruth tries to make out it was all her doing it went back to court but...our local editor helped A LOT and also Rochelle did also...they also did a Crime Watch a few years ago

I doubt the siblings will be on it if its the mothers story. It could be kind of awkward as I guess they are going to try and highlight things. As for her husband...ugh...just no comment as I dont want to get banned.

Yes Rochelle and Sheradyn gave interviews. Its nice to see that despite their early years they have both turned out so well. Becky did a statement I know on behalf of her and the Harveys but not sure if she did an actual interview.

I can't work out whether I will watch or not tbh as just reading her evidence at the trial made me feel pretty mad as have her interviews since. Honestly if she would just ADMIT..what those kids went through it would be a start. To see interviews where she says she gave him too much freedom...after what several other witnesses said what he was forced to do is just sickening to be honest. I would much preferred had it been the siblings story.

I don’t think I will watch. These programmes where they portray themselves as Mother of the Year etc sicken me. He had an awful childhood, in her “care”.

This is the issue I have. The testimony in court and what I have seen in interviews since just sicken me and to be honest I feel sorry for her daughters when I hear that as they had to live through it all and to hear it being denied must be hard for them.

I'm tempted as I'm nosey, but for the sake of my blood pressure I should probably give it a miss.

I can't help but watch.. although I agree with everything you guys say I was raised by an alcoholic Mum and I wasn't treated good saw stuff no1 of that age should see but when my Mum admitted she was wrong and tried to make up the best she could it made a difference, I hate what she done and who she was but I understand depression now and get why she was the way she was. I lost her 3 years ago and was the worst pain I've felt in my life.. Ruth just needs to own up to her mistakes now
