UK Robert Napper vehicle

How can I find out what car he drove? I am convinced it was Robert Napper that followed me & my child in the early 1990’s. I remember the colour & model of the vehicle & it would clarify that it was definitely him if someone mentioned the same car. He followed us for about 15 minutes & kept stopping his car, opening the boot & standing next to it. I instinctively knew he wasn’t actually looking for anything & so kept crossing the road to get away from him. I finally got home safely but the final place he parked was scarily outside my house. He tried to talk to me but I ran inside to get my partner. In the blink of an eye, he was gone.
