28, 32 & 60? Wonder if they are all related? Very strange that 3 people were possibly involved. So sad. She looked so much like people I know and is very close to my age. I hate this. I hope justice is swift.

The other 2 are for assisting an offender (after the fact I guess) so would say family and/or very loyal/naive friends.

I am glad that they have found her. Of course I hoped that she was alive, but the nature of the search made that unlikely. Somebody knew something - or somebody saw something.

Anyone that knew what he did and helped him after is absolute scum. I hope if they are all guilty that they get very tough sentences

Oh no! RIP Samantha. Any news on the identity of the ones arrested?

Oh no - absolutely sick when I read that headline. Poor girl and her family.

Just watched the BBC report on the TV and the reporter on scene just stated a local resident on the road near the quarry was asked for their CCTV footage between 09:00 and 11:00am on the day she disappeared so now wonder if the ~14:00 scream was relevant?

Any news on the identity of the ones arrested?

Not yet, but they do say one is the same man arrested and bailed the other day so almost certainly MS.

I wonder why the Stoke Sentinel hasn't made an update?

ETA: Weird...when linking from their Twitter it works.

Names are rarely made public until/unless charges are brought.
That said, the media can be unscrupulous as many of us will recall from the Joanna Yeates case.

The police must have had enough lead to focus the search around the quarry area. So sad.

I guess the question on everyone’s mind now is what motive does MS have. It doesn’t look like this is a random crime.

Gosh yes that was terrible that poor man.

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Staffordshire Police have discovered a body, yet to be formally identified, in the search for our friend and colleague Samantha Eastwood. (Liz Rix, Chief Nurse)

Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this time. I would like to thank Staffordshire Police for their dedication and support this week. (Liz Rix, Chief Nurse)

Have to wait and see I suppose, but could be that the other two gave false info/alibis, deliberately or out of loyalty and innocence.

So sad. RIP

Clearly someone she knows as well considering they arrested this person early on in the week

Just speculating but I'd hazard a guess at dad/brother.
