Found Deceased UK - Samantha Eastwood, 28, Stoke-on-Trent, 27 July 2018 *Arrest*

I’ve heard a good “theory” today.
When MS was originally arrested on the Tuesday the police took his phone and then used his tracking data to find where he had been in the recent days. Sounds obvious now someone else has said it to me. Not sure if anyone else realised this!

Makes sense that first thing police do is ask for your phone ( to check ur texts, calls lists etc) and that he might know that they'd ask for it when he was initially arrested on 29th.

Only thing with that theory is, can't they do it just by getting your phone number- so any of the family could have given police MS ph number as early as Friday evening.

General public, esp younger pple seem to be quite up on what the police can do re triangulation these days and know when to keep their phones off/chip out and when to use an alternative phone. ( used to be more that pple involved in dodgy dealings knew to swap their sims & avoid triangulation etc, now it seems common-place. I blame "Hunted.")

No idea if he's the kind of bloke to have more than one phone either.

On SE & KS Fb page (KS now hidden), under 'favourites', the same fencing company was mentioned. Also on SE's was a hot tub company.

Do you recall at all, when KS did that? was it well in advance of his arrest on afternoon of 29th or just at that point?
And same for MS's account - when did his account go down?

The police probably advised them to this early on

nothing further has been released about the arrests of the other two suspects. Would this not be released by the police until trial?

Sometimes we hear if they are released from bail, but not always.
My guess is they are still on bail and will be until the trial.

We will definitely hear if either of them is charged with an offence.

I can't find any pictures of the summer house and I'm intrigued due to so much discussion around the quality of workmanship. Would anyone be kind enough to post the pic or link? Tyia

here you go lucy
There aren't any clearer ones - this shows issues w the guttering ( and possibly the roof) altho that's not to say that Sam would have had issues with it, that was just pure speculation by everyone before the body was found & the description of it's finding. ( It's interesting that not a single Sun /Mail/local journalist has mentioned any defects. )

And in the far right here, shot 1
Shot 2 shows ongoing works in the front garden
Am assuming the trampoline must be tucked behind the house at the back ( hard standing area there.)

Looks a bit like someone grabbed onto that gutter to avoid being pushed into the summerhouse, and nearly pulled it off?

She wasn’t tall enough imo

Unless he grabbed her from behind and lifted her off her feet to carry her in?

There's just been alot of people mentioning the poor workmanship of the new summerhouse, and I was thinking maybe it wasn't built poorly, but that it was damaged afterwards maybe from a fight or struggle in there.

and you've opened up another option - he's probably tall enough too.
( In a temper, ripping down some of his past work, in her presence or not etc.)

Everyone knows you just have to put it in a crisp packet right?

Employee used crisp packet as 'Faraday cage' to hide his whereabouts during work

Yep, your first post suggesting someone grabbed that gutter certainly made me consider your second post !

Until we know more, anything/everything is possible..
Keep the theories coming.

'Give her the send off she deserves' - midwife's ex-fiance in funeral fund plea

The ex fiance seems to have really loved Samantha. He sounds heartbroken. It makes be wonder why the wedding was called off by Samantha as discussed upthread.
IMO i don't see her being killed over the issues with the summer house. Samantha had told a work friend she had been threatened and felt scared enough to mention phoning the police if she didn't turn up for work. I just cannot imagine Samantha thinking she would be harmed enough of killed that she wouldn't be able to call for help over a shed. That's the only reason I can think of that would prevent her from turning up for work or letting work know that she was not turning up.
I haven't got a clue what the threats were about but I don't think they were over shoddy work or non payment.
All my own rambling opinions.

I hope he pleads guilty and saves family the anguish of a trial.
