I don’t think it’s shoes, if this is the bag you mean. Lightened and brightened there’s something square in there.

Maybe they have to examine that evidence and give more information to the press in the morning. [Sorry, English is not my mother tongue.]

No-one can tell English is not your mother tongue, you speak it perfectly!

It’s the 2 people in image 3 but there is a better photo of it from behind where they are clearly shoes

That’s the one I meant. Looks very clearly like a pair of shoes

Can you attach the image you’re referring to, please?

And not one single solid person in all the dozens of vehicles that passed along saw NOTHING that caught their attention? No. And certainly someone dragging a woman across the road would have stood out in the memory.

The only thing that seems to make sense to me is that SE knew the perp. And by that it could range from them being friends through to just being someone she saw in passing often on that route, or even someone she saw earlier that day. I'm struggling to see how anyone she didn't know could possibly abduct her in that location without raising huge suspicion.

Shoe covers for indoor use?

They look like small ballerina style shoes....so I'm guessing they are the forensic officers shoe covers

New poster here and completely new to websleuths. I live only a few minutes or so from where Sarah started her walk so all feels very real to me especially as I've seen a lot of police around. Plus have colleagues who have friends who know Sarah too.

In my opinion a hit and run type scenario would be very unlikely especially on that kind of road as you'd have so many cars passing/deliveroo bicycles etc. Seems super unlikely someone could hit her and not be noticed especially as she's wearing bright clothes. It's hardly something you'd see and think was something else happening.

Whereas threatening her with a weapon, or getting her into a vehicle could easily be perceived as something normal and every day if you weren't close enough or just quickly passing by.

Just speculating here though, nothing based on fact. I really hope Sarah's out there somewhere and is alive.

From looking at those forensics teams on their hands and knees in that area... They are not acting on ‘suspicion’ IMO.. it has to be concrete CCTV evidence of SE not leaving that area as expected on foot.

it seems most likely that it was a surprise attack and she was either dragged into the block of flats, or maybe the park across the road, and then later something was disposed of in the block of flats where the police have been focusing on this evening

I agree about her being taken by suprise that probably would be more likely probably one or more person is involved to get her in the flats? but how could they have got her in there at 9.30pm without other residents seeing hearing anything or noticing anything?

I do believe she was taken to a vehicle at some point and that car has seemed to have got out of the area or possibly a van was used and police and forensics have just tried to piece up any evidence they can - I probably watch too many episodes of criminal minds

You don't have to drag someone. You could get someone to comply and walk along with you if you threaten them with a weapon. IMO
it depends what side of the road she was walking on, but she could have been dragged here and into the park very quickly without anyone seeing anything. However, I think she was more likely walking on the other side of the road and may have been threatened at the junction of Rodenhurst Road. As you say if she was threatened she may have stayed quiet assuming that this would cause her the least amount of harm. There have been other reports of similar reports around this area here over the last 6 weeks

This is my 3rd post so I’m not all that au fait but the other posted put up the image from behind that looked like 2 shoes in a bag.

It may not be shoes but it’s interesting anyway what could be in a bag as it does look an evidence bag and labelled so would be odd if just their specialist gear

The shoes are a good spot but they may equally mean something or nothing imo. In my experience, random shoes or items of clothing are commonplace on the street. Having done a full forensic search of the area, they're obviously going to come away from tonight with all sorts of stuff, but most of it won't be relevant.

JMO though.

I don't necessarily believe into the flats, but into the area of the block of flats - by the bins/around the back etc.
