which may lead back to why the police are asking whether SE had been seen at the location of WCs home perhaps?
Or maybe it was just pre meditated that he was going to attack someone, anyone

Yes for sure, my husband is a key worker and I am not, however we were still able to send my son to school (I care for an elderly relative almost full time, so it was a godsend for us). Some schools state two, others just the one.I thought you could still send them in if one parent was an essential worker, maybe it depends on the school?
I am sure it was announced they were not known to each other

any chance you could make the image bigger?
I’m new to this site - I’ve been following the SE case and you all seem like an absolutely lovely group of people - such an incredibly sad chain of events - I can’t stop thinking about her poor poor family and how terrified she must have been.
The protest this evening is a difficult one - it’s a very very valid issue and discussion that needs to be raised in public. Sarah’s situation is obviously incredibly rare - but we definitely do live in a culture/society that contributes to individual acts of violence against women. It does seem ironic that so many rapists/sexual predators go unpunished whilst protestors are being handcuffed, but I do also understand that protests may be too soon and may be difficult (understandably) for Sarah’s family and friends at this point, as well as the obvious covid risk. Hopefully if anything Sarah’s death will mean offenses such as flashing are taken more seriously in the future, and such terrible crimes can in some way be prevented.
Forgive me if irrelevant, but I'm having trouble going back an forth with posts, could the green (park?) on Poynders be somewhere he could have chased her to /into and attacked and took her from there by way of rubble bag, also I've never noticed a dog there but someone mentioned they have a dog, maybe said the dogs run off,.. The amount of times, probably every day, if I see a cute dog I pay total attention to dog and even go awwwww your so cute etc a distraction pernaps?, I never heard a dog yapping at all on Tues, a house swarming with unusual people unexpectedly and your owner and family upset and stressed may have started it off barking, I'm sure someone on here said they had a pug?
My sisters husband works for the police. His normal week is 3 days in 4 days leave 4 days In 3 days leave and so on. Police leave is different to mine like I have to book leave?Well, yes, point taken, but that is then pre-supposing that he set out to intentionally do something before encountering SE, because the leave had been arranged prior to March 3.
As I understand this is what her family said, but there is the consideration that some friends just aren't known to your parents and some friends aren't aware of other friendsI am sure it was announced they were not known to each other
Not been here long myself but welcome.
I just wanted to echo your unease about the protests - someone posted an article written by a friend of hers which was well written and brought tears to my eyes.
I don't feel the protests about women's safety are invalid at all - but I feel a vigil for Sarah should be just that. As women, we have all been in the position of being afraid and changing our behaviour to accommodate a hostile world. I also think the circumstances are challenging re: faith in the police given the arrest. But we are not all 'Sarah' - her experience was truly horrifying and we should respect that although we can relate to the circumstances of her life, we cannot all relate to what she went through on that night(or the vast majority of us anyway). Her life, particularly her undeserved premature death, deserves to be respected and honoured. Fully in support of cases like this leading to meaningful change in society and people's behaviour, the protests can come later.
I have been giving this some thought. I think the earliest LE linked WC was the weekend after Sarah went missing. IMO he had at least Thursday and Friday to do anything he needed to do and possibly Saturday too.He has, but we don’t know how long he was under surveillance for. Did the MET trace the plates of the Astra early on and track him? Would he risk going back and forth knowing he might be being watched? I’m not sure he wasn’t planning to go back to hide her body better, but perhaps wanted to ensure he wasn’t number one suspect first.
I just want to point out that it said he started a 12 hour shift at 7pm on 2nd March, and then he went on leave. I am assuming this was sick leave rather than holiday leave. There is nothing that states he finished the shift. He STARTED it and then went on leave. He could have left his job after an hour. MOO
When you zoom into this shot, the position of the person and seatbelt in the front seat looks really odd, like someone is seating sideways facing the passenger window, but with their seat-beat on across them.
I know. It has. But it doesn't sit right with me. I'm not suggesting that they went out drinking together - but maybe, they had met. Maybe he liked the look of her. Maybe she looked like his wife when she was younger....
Just a list of maybes and an unexplained reason for her interacting with him make me think.

I can - use the + and - 5 minute buttonshttps://livetrains.co.uk/jamCams/osm/#00001.03759
Unable to see these cameras from 3rd March between the times of 21:30 - 22:20 (this is a possible route that WC could have taken after the kidnapping..)
<....>
The only thing that makes me think otherwise is the charge of kidnapping as they must have visual evidence that shows she didn't go with him willingly. All very odd.
Or maybe he just attacked her
